There’s an inherent emotional manipulation that comes with the concept of this film that kept me from watching it for a while. It’s also one of Stephen King’s worst books I’ve ever read.
Despite that, this was one of the most visceral watches I’ve had in a long time, a completely devastating and arresting movie. David Jonsson and Cooper Hoffman better stay booked and busy for a long time.
There was only one ending that really made sense for this one, and somehow I didn’t even see it coming.
