Really cool movie. Twizzy fantasy at its finest. A true classic of the blue-black goth movie cannon. I remember two being the high watermark for the series but I will watch that again as well to refresh. Action wise this movie walked so John Wick could run.

I was so glad they were speaking German in this after having watched the first two. I don’t know why that sometimes annoys me but it annoyed me about the previous versions of this. Certainly the most visually appealing, not the best of the 3, but the second best.

Bad. Not funny. Not visually appealing. Not engaging. It looked so streaming and the performances were too much for me. This felt like a movie doing a Troma impersonation. It is possible I have aged out of what they do as I used to love Troma movies…but I’m not convinced.

Really good disaster movie. Great sets and great effects. Some of the CGI ages rough, but that’s to be expected. Excellent performances and really tense atmosphere from start to finish.

Really good. Is this just effectively Stephen King trapped in one of his own stories? In the upper echelons of Carpenter for me, I prefer this to a lot of his more classic titles.

This movie is unbelievably bad. I wonder if it was so bad that it doesn’t get a second chance now that video game adaptations have been figured out. This felt like a straight to video release from my childhood but with all the charm forcibly removed.

Really strong, really better than most IP riff raff that came after it. Much better than it’s sequels…except maybe “Bumblebee.” The effects still look good and the 4k was cleeeeeeeeeean.

Stupid martial arts fun. JCVD usually hits in these cheesefests and this is no different. The dancing meme is from this movie and that is worth the price of admission alone. It’s not “Bloodsport” but it still goes.

I thought this was fine when it came out and that stays the same now. Yea, they could have done a different story but it feels like they thought they were getting a franchise going. They need to do this again with the “Avatar” tech and get it right this time.

This was really good. The setting and the twizzy 2000s vibes. Love the EPL references. Felt like “Devil Wears Prada” for girls with engagement gums.
