Description

In 1957 Paris, young literature student Anne Goupil is drawn into a loose circle of theatre friends rehearsing Pericles who are haunted by the apparent suicide of a Spanish composer they knew. As Anne hears more about a shadowy global conspiracy supposedly behind the death — and people around the production begin to die or disappear — she can no longer tell where the group's paranoia ends and a real plot begins.

Description

Italian genre stalwart Sergio Grieco directs Françoise Prévost, Jenny Tamburi, and Paolo Malco in this ‘nunsploitation’ classic, freely adapted from the writings of Victor Hugo. In sixteenth-century Spain, Lucita (Tamburi) is forced into a convent by her family to separate her from her lover, Esteban (Malco). The film blends eroticism and horror with a scathing critique of religious hypocrisy.
