WORLDWIDE BLU-RAY PREMIERE OF THE EXTREME ITALIAN VERSION & U.S. CUT + BONUS SOUNDTRACK CD! In one of the earliest entries in the subgenre, ItaloFilth veteran Bruno Mattei (THE OTHER HELL, WOMEN'S PRISON MASSACRE) set the Caligsploitation standard for informative history, raid-the-peplum-props ingenuity and jaw-dropping depictions of ancient Roman depravity: When the deranged emperor (Vladimir Brajovic of THE STORY OF O) falls for an insatiable gladiatrix (Betty Roland of Mattei's CALIGULA REINCARNATED AS NERO), their reign will launch a mind-bending bacchanal of torture, sodomy, incest, castration, borrowed footage and aroused livestock. Françoise Blanchard (THE LIVING DEAD GIRL), Florence Guérin (Cozzi's THE BLACK CAT) and the infamous Sal Boris (THE BEAST IN HEAT) co-star in this saga of saturnalian obscenity, presented in both the Explicit Italian Version and Unrated U.S. Release scanned in 2K from their original negatives. BLU-RAY SPECIAL FEATURES: Caligula: The Life Behind The Legend -- Interview With Anthony A. Barrett, Author Of Caligula: The Corruption Of Power Trailer CD Soundtrack

Description

The great Fred Astaire (Blue Skies) puts on his dancing shoes and says Let’s Dance to ebullient Betty Hutton (The Miracle of Morgan’s Creek) in this Technicolor treat from the Golden Age of the Hollywood musical. Hutton plays a war widow who, with the help of her song-and-dance partner Astaire, fights a desperate legal battle to gain custody of her son. Mirthful musical numbers highlight the heartwarming story, including “Oh, Them Dudes,” a wildly comic western spoof that has Astaire swap his top hat and tails for dusty cowboy duds. Then he tops it with “Piano Dance,” dancing on, under, around and in a piano to create one of his most celebrated routines. From the gifted Norman Z. McLeod, director of It’s a Gift, Topper, Road to Rio and The Paleface, Let’s Dance is the most dazzling, toe-tapping musical romp of 1950! Special Features: • 2019 HD Master by Paramount Pictures • NEW Audio Commentary by Author/Film Historian Lee Gambin • Optional English Subtitles
