Description
In a zombie-filled world, a group of unlikely heroes embark on a dangerous journey to rescue their missing friend. In a world suddenly ravaged by a terrifying epidemic, a mysterious virus sweeps across society, transforming ordinary people into ravenous zombies. Civilization collapses overnight as the undead overrun towns and cities with brutal ferocity. But in this apocalypse, there's one remarkable exception: a tight-knit group of friends with Down syndrome seem to be inexplicably immune to the infection. Luka, Kelly, Maya, Robin, and their larger-than-life buddy George -- nicknamed The Slayer for his zombie-slaying enthusiasm -- are part of a supportive living community trying to make sense of the new world around them. When one of their own mysteriously disappears into the zombie-infested wasteland, the group faces a harrowing choice: stay holed up in relative safety or risk everything to go out and rescue their missing friend. Description
A wicked troll king in search of a mystical ring that will make him human invades a San Francisco apartment complex where a powerful witch lives. When the Potter family moves into a new San Francisco apartment building, young Wendy Potter begins acting strangely--possessed by an ancient evil force. Unbeknownst to her family, Wendy has been taken over by Torok, a powerful troll wizard from a magical realm. Torok seeks to reshape the human world into a kingdom of mystical creatures, one apartment at a time. As Torok begins transforming the building's eccentric tenants into fantastical beings--goblins, fairies, and woodland monsters--each apartment unit turns into a bizarre, enchanted ecosystem. The only person who notices the growing strangeness is teenage Harry Potter Jr., Wendy's older brother. As the building becomes a twisted labyrinth of vines, glowing fungi, and magical creatures, Harry turns to Eunice St. Clair, an elderly tenant with a mysterious past. Eunice reveals that she is a centuries-old witch who once knew Torok in his human form. She teaches Harry about the ancient war between humans and magical creatures, and arms him with a magical spear to combat the spreading curse. With her guidance, Harry must navigate a world of illusion and danger to save his sister and stop Torok before the troll's enchanted domain consumes the entire building--and possibly the world. Filled with inventive practical effects, puppetry, and a mix of horror and fantasy, Troll blends fairy-tale whimsy with eerie creature horror. As Harry faces off against trolls, nymphs, and even a monstrous bat-like beast, the film builds to a magical showdown that tests courage, love, and the balance between two worlds. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. The Waits family is looking forward to a nice, quiet getaway in the country with their upcoming homestay in the sleepy town of Nilbog, although son Joshua has strong misgivings about the trip. The young boy is being visited by the ghostly apparition of his late Grandpa Seth, who warns him that they’re heading into a land of man-eating goblins with the power to disguise themselves as humans. Sure enough, when the Waits arrive in Nilbog, things are ominous from the outset - the locals are frosty, all the food is tinged a bizarre green color, and the only milk available in town looks like it's been left out for days. Whilst the rest of the family attempts to make the best out of these bizarre circumstances, blissfully unaware of the grave danger they’re in, it’s left to Joshua - guided by Grandpa Seth - to lead the charge against the vicious goblins and their evil queen before they’re next on the menu! Celebrated by cult film fans around the world as one of the “best worst” movies of all time, TROLL 2—helmed by prolific Italian filmmaker Claudio Fragasso (Monster Dog, Beyond Darkness), who appears under the pseudonym of Drago Floyd, and shot in Utah with a local cast—is a sheer masterclass in cinematic insanity packed full of WTF moments, choice dialogue, googly-eyed goblins, people being gruesomely transformed into human plants, and an entirely unexpected erotic application of an ear of corn. Now newly restored in 4K from its original camera negative and loaded with a spellbinding array of brand new bonus features, Vinegar Syndrome is thrilled to serve up the green goo-spattered cult classic that is TROLL 2 in its world UHD premiere. Music icon David Byrne was inspired by tabloid headlines to make this sole foray into feature film directing, an ode to the extraordinariness of ordinary American life and a distillation of what was in his own idiosyncratic mind. Byrne plays a visitor to Virgil, Texas, who introduces us to the citizens of the town during preparations for it's Celebration of Specialness. As shot by cinematographer Ed Lachman, Texas becomes a hyperrealistic late capitalist landscape of endless vistas, shopping malls, and prefab metal buildings. In True Stories, Byrne uses his songs to stitch together pop iconography, voodoo rituals, and a singular variety show all in the service of uncovering the rich mysteries that lurk under the surface of everyday experience.

He is to become part of the doctor's diabolical experiment to create a race of super people. This twisted and maniacal doctor's experiments have so far only created terrifying and hideous creatures. His human guinea pigs, freed by the doctor's own daughter, turn the island hideaway into a bloodbath of revenge and terror! Cult Film Queen Pam Grier is featured as ''Panther Woman''. Review ''Basically a retread of HG Wells ''The Island of Dr Moreau,'' ...It does have some good special effects and excellent make-up... ...mistakes include human beings crossed with Apes, Bats and even a Panther. The Panther is a non-speaking role for Pam Grier which involves her savaging everyone in sight and showing the butt kicking prowess that was to make her a success in future films.'' Another 12 classic martial arts films highlight this explosive box set comprised from the famous Shaw Brothers' library and featuring some of their greatest stars including The Five Deadly Venom's stars Phillip Kwok, Sun Chien, Lu Feng, Chiang Sheng, and Lo Meng and A Better Tomorrow's Derek Yee and Ti Lung. Many of these visually spectacular films are debuting for the first time on Blu-ray. Heroes meet villains in edge-of-your-seat duels in this exciting array of some of Shaw Brothers' best! The Rebel Intruders: The "Venoms" are back in action again! After creating an international sensation in The Five Venoms, Taiwanese Opera artists Phillip Kwok, Chiang Sheng and Lu Feng reteamed with Chinese muscleman Lo Meng and super-kicker Sun Chien for this politically charged thriller. Set in the early Republican years, The Rebel Intruders follows skilled refugees who run afoul of a powerful traitor. From then on, it's one amazing battle after another! Two Champions Of Shaolin: Legendary director Chang Cheh hit upon a winning formula by teaming three Taiwanese stars with a Korean kicker and a Chinese strongman in a super heroic series of kung fu-filled adventures—starting with the international cult favorite, The Five Venoms. This particular action-packed tale of Shaolin vs. Wu Tang fighters is special in that the fifth "Venom" worked behind the scenes while the other four strut their stuff all the more intently because of it. Legend Of The Fox: Revered director Chang Cheh co-wrote this showcase for a new discovery. Bloody thrills and superlative fight scenes buoy his exciting tale of revenge, which was choreographed by and features cameos from the director's three most popular "Venoms": Kuo Chue, Chiang Sheng, and Lu Feng. Already famous for starring in more than a dozen films, here they lend their extensive expertise to Chien Hsiao-hou, who went on to star in such classics as Mr. Vampire and Fist Of Legend. Black Lizard: Director Chor Yuen is famous for introducing elements of murder mysteries, detective tales, and emotional melodrama into kung fu films. This is one of those skilled thrillers, wherein he uses two editors and three martial arts choreographers to tell a tale of kidnapping, murder, frame-ups, and even being buried alive. The kung fu takes on a macabre, horrific flair in this stunning story of swordsmen and women struggling to save their true loves…and their sanity. House Of Traps: It started with The Five Venoms, the internationally loved kung fu thriller. It continues through more than a dozen bloody good films featuring the same actors in different roles. House Of Traps is considered the last official "Venoms" movie, but what a film it is. There's one plasma-spurting attack after another as heroes and rogues alike try to solve the secrets of a hell house. The core Venoms themselves choreograph the gory fun in this fond farewell to their worldwide film series sensation. Masked Avengers: The godfather of the kung fu film, Chang Cheh, star

Originally released in 1997, Two Orphan Vampires (Les Deux orphelines vampires) finds Jean Rollin, the master of the fantastique, returning to the vampire genre with which he had made his name. By day, blind orphans Henriette and Louise seem to be the picture of innocence. But when darkness falls, their sight returns, and they wander the streets of Paris, encountering the city’s strange nocturnal denizens, and leaving a trail of corpses in their quest for fresh blood. Featuring startling performances from novice leads Alexandre Pic and Isabelle Teboul, alongside Tina Aumont (Modesty Blaise) and Rollin regulars Nathalie Perrey (The Shiver of the Vampires) and Brigitte Lahaie (Fascination), Two Orphan Vampires is a beautiful and melancholy summation of Rollin’s unique and arresting style. James Earl Jones (The Great White Hope) and Estelle Parsons (Don’t Drink the Water) star as Barney and Betty Hill, husband-and-wife survivors of an alien abduction, in this engrossing look at one of the most controversial and carefully documented cases of an extraterrestrial encounter in U.S. history.
