Trizombie 09/26 Blu-ray (Rental)

In a zombie-filled world, a group of unlikely heroes embark on a dangerous journey to rescue their missing friend. In a world suddenly ravaged by a terrifying epidemic, a mysterious virus sweeps across society, transforming ordinary people into ravenous zombies. Civilization collapses overnight as the undead overrun towns and cities with brutal ferocity. But in this apocalypse, there's one remarkable exception: a tight-knit group of friends with Down syndrome seem to be inexplicably immune to the infection. Luka, Kelly, Maya, Robin, and their larger-than-life buddy George -- nicknamed The Slayer for his zombie-slaying enthusiasm -- are part of a supportive living community trying to make sense of the new world around them. When one of their own mysteriously disappears into the zombie-infested wasteland, the group faces a harrowing choice: stay holed up in relative safety or risk everything to go out and rescue their missing friend. Their journey quickly becomes a test of courage, friendship, and ingenuity. As they traverse derelict streets, abandoned buildings, and undead-filled landscapes, they must confront grotesque hordes of zombies, clever traps, and the constant threat of betrayal from within. But despite the gore and danger, their unique bond brings moments of humor, heart, and unexpected resilience -- turning what could have been a bleak survival tale into a celebration of perseverance in the face of chaos. Trizombie blends zombie horror mayhem with dark comedy and emotional beats, offering a fresh take on the apocalypse genre that highlights bravery, loyalty, and the power of community in the most unlikely heroes.
