I love boutique labels, but Shout Factory can be hit or miss. This Pleasantville release is actually pretty decent.
The movie still holds up, the picture looks good for a Blu-ray, and the audio is fine but nothing impressive. My biggest criticism is that some of the rules around characters turning color feel a little inconsistent — Paul Walker’s character being one example.
Still, it’s an enjoyable movie and I’m glad to finally see it get a good Blu-ray release.
