Director’s Cut Review - I did not appreciate this as much as I should’ve on first watch although I may have watched the theatrical version. Incredible film, classic Spielberg. Makes you viscerally feel the urge to understand what it all means and the impact it has on everyone around Richard Dreyfus’s character. Only complaint is that there is too much of the aliens themselves at the end.
