I haven't seen the English remake of this movie but I'm told it's not as good.
This movie is one of the best crime-mystery movies ever made. Be aware the movie opens with a graphic act of sexual violence. The story that follows is a fantastic, tense, drama-mystery with fantastic dialogue and perfect storytelling.
