Underworld: Awakening on 4K UHD is a slick, entertaining action-horror entry that still feels fun to watch. Underworld: Rise of the Lycans looks incredible on the 4K UHD disc, with noticeably sharper detail and rich HDR color that really pops. The Dolby Atmos audio is just as impressive, with full, immersive surround sound and a strong, punchy low end. The disc also adds a new UHD featurette about the film’s production design.

Underworld: Evolution is a bit of a grind story-wise, but the 4K UHD disc looks great and sounds amazing. The picture jumps to deep, inky blacks and more vibrant, detailed color with solid HDR punch. The Dolby Atmos track is reference-level, with huge, well-balanced surround and clear, well-placed dialogue. The Others looks absolutely stunning, with improved clarity, sharpness, and especially the shadow detail and color. The Atmos audio is also excellent, with lots of dynamic punch. The review gives the movie itself a solid mid rating, mainly because the pacing drags a bit in the middle.
