Robert Townsend (Hollywood Shuffle, The Meteor Man) directs an all-star cast featuring Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction, Mission: Impossible), Mykelti Williamson (Forrest Gump) and Alfre Woodard (12 Years a Slave, Miss Evers' Boys) in a Golden Globe- nominated performance*. Based on the wildly successful stageplay by writer Cheryl L. West, Holiday Heart is a ""poignant"" (The Hollywood Reporter), heartfelt drama about how love can overcome addiction... and prejudice. Choirmaster by day and female impersonator by night, creatively talented Holiday (Rhames) is a lonely man living with a broken heart... until he befriends a bright young girl and her drug-addicted mother (Woodard). Helping them off the street and into an empty apartment across from his, Holiday quickly forms a special bond with them. But when the mom hooks up with a dangerous drug-dealing boyfriend (Williamson), their worlds are again turned upside-down, forcing Holiday to confront his own prejudices if it means saving the two people he so desperately loves. *2000: Best Performance By An Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV DIRECTOR: Robert Townsend ACTORS: Ving Rhames, Alfre Woodard, Mykelti Williamson, Jesika Reynolds, Johnathan Wesley Wallace, Philip Maurice Hayes FEATURES: Rating: R Genre: Drama Year of Release: 2000 Run Time: 97 Minutes Region: 1 Subtitles:ENGLISH Original Langauge: ENGLISH Discs: 1 Aspect Ratio: 1.85:1 Video Color Stereo WILD BILL
