In pre-war Germany, the Third Reich was pleased that the esteemed Cambridge archeology professor Horatio Smith (Leslie Howard, who directed) sought to excavate significant Aryan artifacts near the Swiss border. They'd be far less thrilled to learn that the unprepossessing academic was actually engaging in a courageous mission to spirit concentration camp prisoners out of the country! Rousing propaganda adventure co-stars Francis L. Sullivan, Mary Morris, David Tomlinson. 120 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono; Subtitles: English (SDH).
