Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Molly Stewart (Donna Wilkes, Jaws 2) is at the top of her class at the prestigious private high school she attends. But what her classmates and teachers don't know is that Molly survives by working nights as a prostitute on Hollywood Blvd, in the company of her friends: a worldly transvestite, a retired cowboy movie star, and her cantankerous but kind-hearted landlady. However, her world begins to fall apart when a depraved, necrophiliac serial killer begins targeting LA's streetwalkers. As more and more women fall victim to this vicious killer, Molly realizes that it'll be up to her and her friends to take on the maniac before they too find themselves in his murderous sights... Mixing brutal, slasher styled killing scenes with the sweetness of an afterschool special, Robert Vincent O'Neil's (Blood Mania, Wonder Women) ANGEL is one of the seminal exploitation films of the early 80s. Co-starring Dick Shawn (The Producers), Rory Calhoun (Motel Hell), Susan Tyrrell (Cry Baby), Cliff Gorman (All That Jazz), and featuring beautiful cinematography by Andrew Davis (The Fugitive) along with a memorable score by Craig Safan (Cheers), Vinegar Syndrome proudly brings ANGEL to Blu-ray, newly restored in 4K. Bonus Features: 1. Region Free Blu-ray 2. Newly scanned & restored in 4k from its 35mm interpositive 3. "Discovering an Angel" - an interview with co-writer/director Robert Vincent O'Neil 4. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Harold (Leonard Fray, Fiddler on the Roof) is turning 32 and his friend Michael (Kenneth Nelson, Off-Broadway’s The Fantasticks) is hosting a party for him in his Upper East Side apartment in New York City. The party guests—Emory (Cliff Gorman, All That Jazz), Donald (Frederick Combs), Bernard (Reuben Greene, Mikey and Nicky), Hank (Laurence Luckinbill, Such Good Friends), Larry (Keith Prentice, Cruising) and “Cowboy Tex” (Robert La Tourneaux), who is also Harold’s gift from Michael—all arrive to Michael’s apartment. Like Harold and Michael, the party guests are all gay men. That is, until Michael’s straight friend Alan (Peter White, TV’s All My Children) unexpectedly crashes the party. As the night gets longer, and the guests get more inebriated, the festivities turn darker and raw emotions surface. Adapted for the screen by Mart Crowley from his groundbreaking play of the same name, THE BOYS IN THE BAND is a pivotal film in the early career of director William Friedkin, released just a year shy of The French Connection, which would award him an Oscar for Best Director. Amazon.com Cliffhanger was a 1994 comeback of sorts for action hero Sylvester Stallone, this time thanks to director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2 and Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master) and some spectacularly rugged and vertigo-inducing high- mountain terrain. The opening sequence alone delivers what the title promises, and there's a doozy of an airplane stunt that was later reprised, with modifications, in Air Force One. Stallone, looking as tough and craggy as the mountains themselves, is a rescue climber who finds himself going after a gang of crooks (headed by John Lithgow in his bad-guy mode) who've hijacked a U.S. Treasury plane and crash landed in the Rockies (played by the Italian Dolomites) with millions of bucks. Outrageous action-packed, snow-packed, and scenery-packed chase sequences (featuring whirring helicopters, whooshing skis, popping gunfire, and clanging pitons that earned the movie Oscar nominations for sound and sound editing) take full advantage of the digital video disc's Dolby Digital 5.1 sound. --Jim Emerson

Clifford is crammed with enough laugh-out-loud moments and brilliantly subtle, sophisticated humor to spoil you for good! Smart, hyperactive and dangerous ten-year-old Clifford (Short) has a lifelong dream: to visit the Dinosaur World theme park. Happily, his uncle Martin (Grodin) has agreed to take him. But when Martin suddenly reneges on his promise, Clifford hatches a devious plan to get even and teach his uncle that all work and no play makes Clifford a very bad boy! Written by William Porter (Back to School) and Steven Kampmann (The Couch Trip); and directed by Paul Flaherty (writer on SCTV, The Tracey Ullman Show, Muppets Tonight + director of Who's Harry Crumb?, 18 Again!). Review Whether he is pretending to be angelic or flashing satanic looks, Short makes Clifford an often riotous comic creation. And Grodin, with his fussy airs, makes a perfect fall guy. --Malcolm Johnson, Hartford Courant There are plenty of laughs here, and Short is clearly having a ball portraying a Damien-like kid... --Brian Orndorf, Blu-ray.com The kid is obnoxious from start to finish, and the way he fantasizes about his uncle's girlfriend (Mary Steenburgen) is tasteless. --Gene Siskel, Chicago Tribune

Description
Living in the same universe as The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead is a gritty drama that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family. Set in a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counselor Madison Clark and English teacher Travis Manawa have managed to assemble. The everyday pressure of blending two families while dealing with resentful, escapist, and strung out children takes a back seat when society begins to break down. A forced evolution, a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold, and our dysfunctional family must either reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories.

Description
With this sublimely bittersweet tale of romantic longing, director David Lean left behind the British soundstage to capture in radiant Technicolor the sun-splashed glory of Venice at the height of summer. In a tour de force of fearless vulnerability, Katharine Hepburn embodies the conflicting emotions that stir the heart of a lonely, middle-aged American tourist who is forced to confront her deep-seated insecurities when she is drawn into a seemingly impossible affair with a charming Italian shopkeeper (Rossano Brazzi) amid the ancient city’s canals and piazzas. Lean’s personal favorite among his own films, Summertime is an exquisitely tender evocation of the magic and melancholy of a fleeting, not-quite-fairy-tale romance. BLU-RAY SPECIAL EDITION FEATURES New 4K digital restoration, with uncompressed monaural soundtrack New interview with film historian Melanie Williams Interview with director David Lean from 1963 Audio excerpts of a 1988 interview with cinematographer Jack Hildyard Trailer English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing PLUS: An essay by film critic Stephanie Zacharek

Chilling, malevolent voices whisper from the walls only to Harry, and it seems certain that his classmate Draco Malfoy is out to get him. Soon it's not just Harry who is worried about survival, as dreadful things begin to happen at the school. The mysteriously gleaming foot-high words on the wall proclaim: "The Chamber of Secrets Has Been Opened. Enemies of the Heir, Beware."
