*This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Concerned that their latest production isn’t scary enough for modern audiences, the makers of a trashy horror movie titled Dirty Blood call in a spirit medium to host a seance for the cast and crew, hoping this will add a little authenticity to the proceedings. However, the producers get a little more than they bargained for when the medium inadvertently summons the spirit of the notorious Victorian-era serial killer Jack the Ripper. As filming presses on, the real horror commences when various members of the production start winding up brutally murdered. Could this be the ongoing work of a sadistic maniac who’s been preying on prostitutes in the area, or could something much more terrifying—and supernatural—be afoot? One in a series of films made under the “Lucio Fulci presents” banner (originally developed under the title I maestri del thriller), which sought to capitalize on the name of Italy’s Godfather of Gore, MASSACRE is one of the standout entries in the cycle and a pleasingly lurid slasher effort helmed by Burial Ground director Andrea Bianchi. Far sleazier than many of its late 80s horror competitors and packed full of bare skin, lesbian intrigue and hack-and-slash action (not to mention a lively score from Luigi Ceccarelli, who virtually rehashed his music from Rats: Night of Terror), Vinegar Syndrome is thrilled to unfurl MASSACRE in its UHD premiere, newly restored in 4K from its original 16mm camera negative and loaded with new special features. Bonus Features: 1. 2-disc Set: 4K Ultra HD / Region Free Blu-ray 2. 4K UHD presented in Dolby Vision High-Dynamic-Range 3. Newly scanned & restored in 4K from its 16mm original camera negative 4. Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. At the dawn of human civilization, hundreds of thousands of years ago, war was a way of life, with rivaling tribes and vicious nomads transforming the earth into a non-stop bloodbath. Bog, a young man who dreams of being the leader of not just his tribe, but all of human civilization, begins a bloodthirsty quest for domination, wherein he’ll need to fight and conquer both man and beast to truly ascend to the power he so desperately craves. An ultra gory Italian cash-in on the then popular Hollywood trope of ancient-times action/adventure films, notorious genre film auteur Alberto Cavallone's (A Man, A Woman, and a Beast) MASTER OF THE WORLD (aka Conqueror of the World) is a low rent/high sleaze saga of prehistoric man at his most brutal, complete with an array of shocking and dangerous animal stunts to balance out the human-on-human savagery. Never officially released on disc, Vinegar Syndrome brings this gruesome epic to Blu-ray in both its original Italian and English dubbed versions, freshly restored in 4K from its 35mm original negative! Bonus Features: 1. Region Free Blu-ray 2. Newly scanned & restored in 4K from its 35mm original camera negative 3. "Quest for Survival" - an interview with assistant director Stefano Pomilia 4. "200,000 Years Ago" - an interview with Davide Pulici, biographer of writer/director Alberto Cavallone 5. Original theatrical trailer 6. Reversible cover artwork 7. English SDH subtitles

The Nomed Family has been the victim of an ancient curse in which the first born daughter of each generation has gone violently mad and then suspiciously dies. No one can explain the Nomed madness, but some say it's because of the possession of a terrible demonic force. By way of an unnatural urge during her Mother's funeral, Susan entered her family's mausoleum, and ever since an evil presence has been lurking inside of her, waiting for a chance to come out. Now an adult, something is hiding inside Susan's body, coming out to grotesquely murder anyone who comes too close to uncovering her terrifying secret. A consummate blending of early 80s supernatural horror and slasher film tropes, Michael Dugan's (SUPER SEAL) MAUSOLEUM is a stylish, sleazy, and outrageously gory production, featuring a series of imaginative death scenes orchestrated by effects wizard John Carl Buechler (REANIMATOR, TROLL). Starring Bobbie Bresee (GHOULIES) and Marjoe Gortner (WHEN YOU COMIN' BACK RED RYDER?) and featuring a moody orchestral score from Jamie Mendoza-Nava (BOYS OF COMPANY C), Vinegar Syndrome is pleased to bring MAUSOLEUM to to Blu-ray, under exclusive license from producer Michael Franzese and

*This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Trelkovsky, freshly arrived in Paris, is in desperate need of a place to live. After inquiring at a large apartment complex run by the brooding Monsieur Zy, he’s offered the room of Simone Choule, a resident who recently attempted suicide by throwing herself out of the window. Undeterred by this macabre event, Trelkovsky is happy to move in. Shortly thereafter, he meets Stella, Simone's friend, and does his best to comfort and befriend her. Quickly integrating into Stella’s bohemian social scene, Trelkovsky hopes that his life is finally turning a corner; that is, until his new neighbors begin acting strangely, making wild accusations against him, and displaying increasingly sinister and violent behaviors. As the weeks go on, Trelkovsky begins to suspect that something is very wrong in the stuffy old building and that Simone’s fatal plunge might not have been her own doing… From maverick director Roman Polanski (Chinatown, Rosemary’s Baby) comes one of the most unusual and unsettling studio thrillers of the 1970s: THE TENANT. Adapted from Roland Topor’s cult novel, Polanski casts himself in the lead, offering a uniquely demented and outrageously funny performance, and is supported by Melvyn Douglas (The Changeling), Shelly Winters (Night of the Hunter, Lolita), and Isabelle Adjani (Possession). Featuring cinematography by two-time Oscar® winner Sven Nykvist (Cries and Whispers) along with an original score by acclaimed composer Philippe Sarde (La Grande Bouffe), Vinegar Syndrome is thrilled to present the 4K UHD debut of THE TENANT, newly and exclusively restored in 4K from its original camera negative and featuring a wide array of new and archival extras including an expanded interview with Polanski himself. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT include a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Every year, former college roommates Jackie, Abbey and Trina take turns organizing a mystery getaway for the three of them. This year it's Jackie's turn, and she's chosen a weekend of camping in New Jersey's Deep Barons. Despite ominous warnings from a local shopkeeper, the young women set off into the wilderness with high spirits, and it's not long before they're skinny dipping in the nearby lake and generally making the most of the great outdoors - blissfully unaware that they're being watched. As the friends settle in for the night, they're suddenly attacked by a pair of sadistic brothers, Ike and Addley, who drag them in their sleeping bags back to their dilapidated house in the middle of the woods to meet Mother... who turns out to be even more sick and twisted than they are. Subjected to violence, torture and assault beyond their worst nightmares, the women are forced to channel their inner savages in a desperate bid to fight back against these backwoods degenerates. One of the earliest and best films to come from the then-burgeoning slasher wave, Charles Kaufman's MOTHER'S DAY pre-empted (and arguably transcended) the Friday the 13th-era bodycount craze of the early 1980s with this smart and perversely humorous subversion of the slasher template, which is as intent on unsettling the viewer with its scenes of bloody carnage (which led to the film becoming banned in the United Kingdom) as it is with delivering a biting satire of consumerism and pop culture. Now restored in 4K from its original 35mm camera negative by the backwoods dwellers at Vinegar Syndrome, fans can celebrate MOTHER'S DAY all over again with this UHD world premiere, packed with archival material and a shockingly extensive array of brand new bonus features sure to make any mother proud! After getting into a scuffle and finding themselves stranded in a remote southern town, brothers Mike and Josh discover that they’re in the midst of a much deeper problem. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. A fledgling film crew, led by the lovable, yet blind, director Larry Benjamin, is hard at work making - or at least trying to make - Benjamin’s latest and most ridiculous movie. But problems with a difficult cast, an inexperienced and distracted crew, special effects that don’t quite work, and more are soon upended when members of the production team begin to be murdered in increasingly strange and convoluted ways. As the rickety production grinds to a halt, and tensions and distrust flare, the mystery assailant continues to strike. Will Larry and his ragtag team of creative misfits be able to band together and unmask the monstrous force hellbent on killing off the movie's cast and crew before everyone left is reduced to piles of bloody pulp? Acclaimed filmmaker Lloyd Kaufman’s (The Toxic Avenger) twisted take on a meta-movie, TERROR FIRMER is a splatter-fueled shock-fest-cum-murder-mystery which pushes the concept of bad taste to its wildest and most creative extremes, as only Troma can do. Featuring an ensemble cast of Troma alums including Will Keenan (Tromeo and Juliet), Trent Haaga (Tales of Halloween), legendary "Scream Queen" Debbie Rochon (Tromeo and Juliet), Joe Fleishaker (Troma's War), along with guest appearances from esteemed filmmakers Eli Roth (Hostel), Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2), Matt Stone & Trey Parker (South Park) and Lemmy Killmister (of the band Motörhead) as himself, this wildly over-the-top ode to independent filmmaking at last comes to UHD from Vinegar Syndrome, newly restored in 4K from its 35mm original camera negative and heaped with extensive new and archival extras. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. With the impending release of her new book, “The Nesting,” agoraphobic New York-based writer Lauren Cochran decides to spend some time outside the city to find inspiration for her next novel. Arriving in the small town of Dover Falls, she happens across an isolated and dilapidated mansion that bears an uncanny resemblance to the one depicted on the cover of her latest work. Feeling a strange pull to the place, Lauren decides to rent the property and quickly gets herself set up and into writing mode. But it’s not long before she starts experiencing bizarre, vivid dreams and seeing ghostly apparitions. Soon enough, those around her start dying in strange and gruesome ways. What could all this have to do with the house’s murky history and a tragedy that occurred there decades before? The only mainstream feature directed by prolific illustrator and erotic filmmaker Armand Weston (Defiance, Take Off), THE NESTING - which was originally filmed as Phobia and subsequently re-released in 1983 as Massacre Mansion - is a stylish supernatural slasher expertly photographed by João Fernandes (Children of the Corn, Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter), and featuring Academy Award-winning actress Gloria Grahame (The Bad and the Beautiful) in her final screen role. Now newly restored in 4K from its original 35mm camera negative, Vinegar Syndrome is proud to unveil THE NESTING in its UHD world premiere, presented in its longer Phobia cut for the first time on home video, alongside a host of new bonus features and a wealth of archival material. Bonus Features: 1. 2-disc Set: 4K Ultra HD / Region Free Blu-ray 2. 4K UHD presented in Dolby Vision High-Dynamic-Range 3. Newly scanned & restored in 4K from its 35mm original camera negative 4. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. In Boston, a young female teacher’s aide is found decapitated in a playground, her head discarded in a nearby bucket. Bearing striking similarities to a murder that took place the week before, Harvard-educated Lieutenant Judd Austin is brought onto the case, who quickly establishes that the latest victim had been enrolled in evening classes at Wendell College, a local girls' school. As suspicions fall on anthropology professor Vincent Millett — whose extra-curricular liaisons with his students are well-known — the black motorcycle helmet-wearing, Gurkha blade-wielding killer strikes again and again, each time decapitating a young woman connected with the school and disposing of the head in water. Can Lieutenant Austin unmask the maniac before the entire female student body loses their heads? A superlative slasher hailing from the golden age of the slice-and-dice boom, 1981’s NIGHT SCHOOL was the final film from celebrated English director Ken Hughes (Casino Royale, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), and the feature debut of Golden Globe-nominated actress Rachel Ward (The Final Terror, Fortress). Boasting cinematography from David Cronenberg regular Mark Irwin (Videodrome, The Fly) and a score by Brad Fiedel (The Terminator, Fright Night), NIGHT SCHOOL was branded a “video nasty” in the UK and censored due to its scenes of shocking violence. A brilliant computer scientist has just finished work on his greatest creation: a super computer with the ability to transform the personalities of bad and disobedient people. In anticipation of sharing his work with the scientific community, the scientist invites a fellow expert to test the machine on a group of debauched young women. Little does he know that his colleague intends to use the computer to turn their subjects into bloodthirsty mutants! Made by a French crew in Florida, NIGHTMARE WEEKEND is a non-stop assault on the senses. Long available only in low quality transfers of the R rated version, Vinegar Syndrome presents this forgotten trash masterpiece fully uncut and in widescreen, on Blu-ray for the first time!

Lillian and Geoffrey (stage actors Miriam Healy-Louie and Stephen Ramsey) are a seemingly happy couple who relocate to the country so that Geoffrey can focus better on his work, which Lillian knows little about. Eventually, their relationship begins to unravel, with both parties consumed by madness. Larry Fessenden’s first feature-length film to be shot on film, NO TELLING, reimagines Mary Shelley’s immortal Frankenstein tale as an upstate chamber drama that gives way to something much more sinister. Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Bob Crane has long maintained a psychic connection to his twin sister, Jessica, who works as a fashion model in Milan. When Bob senses that his sister might be injured or killed, he travels to Italy to look for her, only to discover that she's vanished without a trace. Enlisting the help of about-to-retire Commissioner Danesi, Bob soon finds himself embroiled in a web of mystery and terror, when a scissors wielding killer begins to strike and all clues lead back to Jessica... A highly entertaining and unexpectedly raunchy late period giallo, clearly taking a cue from the American slasher craze, Carlo Vanzina's NOTHING UNDERNEATH amps up its mid 80s stylings and stars prolific TV actor Tom Schanley (TV's Dexter), Danish fashion model Renée Simonsen, and Donald Pleasence (Halloween) and features a lush score by Pino Donaggio (Dressed to Kill). A group of high fashion models have been invited to an isolated house to attend a party. As the night wears on, one of the models falls victim to a deadly 'accident,' which sets into motion a series of brutal murders, all traced back to a shocking secret... An in name only sequel to Nothing Underneath, prolific commercial director Dario Piana's feature film debut, TOO BEAUTIFUL TO DIE (Nothing Underneath II in Italy), is a quickly paced, ultra stylized, and satisfyingly violent giallo/slasher hybrid which stars French TV star François-Eric Gendron, Florence Guérin (Faceless), and Randi Ingerman (The Two Jakes). Vinegar Syndrome proudly presents both NOTHING UNDERNEATH and TOO BEAUTIFUL TO DIE on English language Blu-ray for the first time, newly restored 4K from their original 35mm camera negatives and bursting with exclusive special features. Secretly transporting the body of her colleague to her suburban basement, Dorine sets about looking to add new “friends” to this growing social group amid her company's unfortunate downsizing. Pragmatically dispatching an ever-increasing number of both fellow employees and unlucky random people, Dorine maintains a convivial life with her rapidly decomposing corpses, while she's not on the clock, of course. The only feature film directed by internationally acclaimed and award-winning photographer Cindy Sherman, OFFICE KILLER is a delectably bloody, tightly-paced contemporary slasher that offers a grimly humorous take on the serial killer thriller and a wry look at the corporate environment of the 1990s. With its bleak, lyrical photography and a score by Lounge Lizards co-founder Evan Lurie, it features Emmy®-winner Carol Kane (When a Stranger Calls) as Dorine, along with Molly Ringwald (The Breakfast Club), Jeanne Tripplehorn (Basic Instinct, TV's Big Love), and a guest appearance from Eric Bogosian (The Stuff). Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Count Dracula has converted his castle into a tawdry tourist attraction as a means of luring in unsuspecting visitors and draining them of their blood. But his dream is to find the perfect blood type needed to resurrect his bride, Vampira, back to the world of the undead. When one of his latest guests turns out to have blood that's a perfect match, Dracula is over the moon, until a lab error results in an unexpected change to beloved Vampira: she's been unintentionally transformed into a soul sister! Determined to restore his wife's original skin tone, Dracula travels to London in search of the girl responsible for the mishap, much to Vampira's dismay. A creative mix of vampire film comedy and a hefty dose of social satire from acclaimed director Clive Donner (What's New Pussycat), OLD DRACULA was first released as VAMPIRA and stars award winning thespian David Niven (The Pink Panther) alongside cult character actress Teresa Graves (Get Christie Love). Featuring gothically tinged cinematography by Anthony Richmond (Don't Look Now, Candyman), Vinegar Syndrome presents this early 70s British favorite in its U.S. Blu-ray debut, in a brand new 2K restoration. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Scientist Joe Burke is determined to prove the existence of alien life and has set up a powerful radio telescope to look for signs. One night, after months of failure, he detects a clear but faint communication emerging from the deepest reaches of space. Excited by his findings, he rushes to his nearby research quarters. No sooner than arriving, the entire building, including its occupants, is lifted into space by a mysterious extraterrestrial force. After docking on a spacecraft, the frightened abductees realize that they have been selected to participate in a dangerous mission, the success of which will determine the fate and survival of Earth… One of the strangest films to emerge from legendary British horror-focused company Amicus Productions, prolific quota-quickie director Montgomery Tully's (Fog for a Killer) penultimate film, THE TERRORNAUTS, is a delirious sci-fi fever dream of plywood spaceships and rubber & foam robots, which becomes increasingly hallucinogenic as it goes on. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Niccolò Paganini was a legend in his time; a master violinist and renowned composer who brought new depth and complexity to the art of music. But in his private life Paganini was a brute and a womanizer who used his talents to seduce and manipulate beautiful women, driving himself, his young son, and devoted wife to the brink of madness. A mesmerising biography of the infamous composer as imagined through the eyes of equally notorious actor and director Klaus Kinski (Aguirre, the Wrath of God), PAGANINI explores the violinist's descent into derangement and carnal mayhem. Moving between the abstract, the beautiful, and the erotic, Kinski distills Paganini's life into a consuming cinematic fever dream as photographed by Pier Luigi Santi (Weapons of Death). Vinegar Syndrome Labs is excited to offer the Blu-ray debut of Kinski's sole feature film directing effort, newly restored in 2K from its 35mm original camera negative and loaded with an abundance of fascinating behind-the-scenes footage along with a selection of new interviews with cast and crew, detailing the untold and often harrowing story of how this unique outlier in Italian genre cinema came to be. Bonus Features: 1. Region Free Blu-ray 2. Newly scanned and restored in 2K from its 35mm original camera negative 3. Rudy Ray Moore is Petey Wheatstraw, whose talent for comedy is only topped by his gift for Kung-Fu. When his arch rivals, Leroy and Skillet, massacre him and his friends, Petey ends up in Hell and is given a unique opportunity: in exchange for his and his friends' return to earth, he must wed Satan's daughter. The only problem: she's the ugliest woman he's ever seen! Will Petey be able to defeat Satan with his magic pimp cane or will he be forced to become the Devil's son-in-law? Rudy Ray Moore's third theatrical feature, Petey Wheatstraw is a raucous and ridiculous blending of action, horror, and Moore's signature brand of raunchy humor. Written and directed by Cliff Roquemore, PETEY is perhaps the craziest of all of Moore's films. Vinegar Syndrome is proud to bring this classic to Blu-ray for the first time, newly restored in 2k from its original 35mm camera negative. Bonus Features: 1. Scanned and restored in 2k from 35mm original camera negative 2. "I, Dolemite Part III" making-of documentary 3. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. In late nineteenth-century Paris, strange things are happening at the Opera House. Legends abound of a mysterious phantom who, raised from infancy by rats, inhabits the subterranean caverns deep beneath the famous building, occasionally emerging above ground to wreak bloody havoc. Enchanted by the voice of the beautiful Christine Daaé, an understudy in the upcoming production of Romeo and Juliet, the phantom quickly brings the singer under his spell, setting himself on a collision course with her would-be suitor, Raoul. As the gala performance of Romeo and Juliet draws near, and Christine falls ever deeper under his influence, the phantom hatches a diabolical plan to secure his young protégeé the starring role - and claim her as his, once and for all. Based on Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel of the same, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA sees Italian horror maestro Dario Argento (Suspiria, Deep Red) turn his masterful directorial hand to a period piece, whilst still injecting proceedings with all the expected visual flair and gruesome gore. Featuring lead performances from Asia Argento (The Stendhal Syndrome) and Julian Sands (Warlock, Boxing Helena) as the titular villain, alongside expert cinematography from veteran DP Ronnie Taylor (Gandhi) and a lush, orchestral score from Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly), Vinegar Syndrome is thrilled to raise the curtain on Argento’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, newly restored in 4K from its original negative and loaded with a bewitching array of new and archival bonus features. Bonus Features: 1. 2-disc Set: 4K Ultra HD / Region A Blu-ray 2. 4K UHD presented in Dolby Vision High-Dynamic-Range 3. Following a mysterious eclipse-like solar event, scientists begin to notice strange and unexplainable behavioral changes in ants. While initially written off as an unconcerning anomaly, it soon becomes apparent that the creatures have developed advanced intelligence along with the ability to work collectively. Scientists Ernest Hubbs and James Lesko have been transferred to a futuristic lab in a remote part of the Arizona desert in which to study these phenomena. However, when the ants begin to attack and kill both wildlife and humans, Hubbs and Lesko realize that the entire human race might now be at a deadly evolutionary disadvantage to the tiny insects… The sole feature film directed by acclaimed graphic artist Saul Bass, PHASE IV is a landmark of 1970s science fiction as it blends arresting visuals, photographed by Dick Bush (Sorcerer) along with nature photographer Ken Middleham, with a tense and harrowing animal attack narrative. Starring Nigel Davenport (Chariots of Fire), Michael Murphy (Nashville), and Lynne Frederick (Schizo) and featuring a mesmerizing musical score by electronic music pioneer Brian Gascoigne, Vinegar Syndrome presents PHASE IV on 4K UHD, newly restored from its 35mm original camera negative and at last containing its legendary and never-before-on-video Preview Version, featuring exclusive, extended, and alternate sequences which have remained unseen since 1974!
