Night School 4K 08/26 Blu-ray (Rental)

Disc 1 contains the feature film on 4K UHD, plus two audio commentaries. In Boston, a young female teacher's aide is found decapitated in a playground, bearing striking similarities to a murder from the week before. Harvard-educated Lieutenant Judd Austin establishes that the victim had been enrolled in evening classes at Wendell College, a local girls' school, and suspicion falls on anthropology professor Vincent Millett, whose liaisons with his students are well known. But the black motorcycle helmet-wearing, Gurkha blade-wielding killer keeps striking, decapitating young women connected with the school. Ken Hughes' 1981 slasher — his final film, and Rachel Ward's feature debut — was branded a “video nasty” in the UK; Vinegar Syndrome presents it newly restored in 4K from its original camera negative.
