In this comedy classic from director William Wyler (Roman Holiday), Laura La Plante (The Cat and the Canary) stars as a bright-eyed dancer who is fired from her chorus line job, cornered by a sly womanizer (Robert Ellis, Broadway), and evicted from her apartment, all in a single day. In the depths of her despair, she is rescued by a handsome Prince Charming (Neil Hamilton, TV's Batman), who turns out to be a wealthy young businessman. Love and marriage follow, but their newlywed bliss is threatened when Paul's uncle (Norman Trevor) recognizes Evelyn from a wild party he had attended.
