Johnny Handsome 4K 09/26 Blu-ray (Rental)

Disc 1 (4K UHD) contains the feature film (brand new HDR/Dolby Vision master – from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative) and two new audio commentaries (filmmaker Edgar Pablos with film historians Nathaniel Thompson and Howard S. Berger; film critics Alain Silver and James Ursini). Petty gangster John Sedley, whose facial deformities earned him the nickname 'Johnny Handsome,' is double-crossed during a robbery: his friend is killed and Johnny goes to prison, where a sympathetic surgeon offers him a new face and a new shot at life. Once outside, Johnny finds staying straight isn't easy — but his new look opens one door: revenge.
