Aces Go Places 08/26 Blu-ray (Rental)

Disc 2 contains Aces Go Places (1982) on Blu-ray, from a 4K scan of the original camera negative restored by Shout! Studios in 2026, with an audio commentary by Hong Kong film critic James Mudge, the interviews 'Playing An Ace' with assistant director O Sing-Pui and 'A Place Worth Revisiting' with film historian Frank Djeng, the film's International Cut (aka Mad Mission), and the theatrical and international trailers. Master thief King Kong steals a fortune in diamonds from the mob in a daring high-rise heist and frames another crook for the crime. But when his partner is murdered and the jewels disappear, Kong must form an uneasy partnership with a bumbling American detective and a tough Hong Kong policewoman, in a caper filled with odd tattoos, narrow escapes and wild chase scenes.
