I wanted to like The Core more than I did, but overall I thought the movie was pretty forgettable. It has a fun disaster-movie idea, but the story and characters never really pulled me in.
The 4K transfer is decent, but nothing that really impressed me. The audio was probably the highlight of the disc — some really good bass, surround activity and a few scenes that actually sound pretty big.
Not a bad disc, just not a movie I see myself going back to very often.
