I have an e ink phone for my eyes an helps with headaches. e ink is the stuff they use in e readers using magnetized particles instead of relying on leds, so when i look at the thing its like looking at a piece of paper an takes no power to maintain an image. I used this phone for everything for a few months instead of normal screens an it felt like I went camping. zero fatigue. thing has a black an white screen so not for everyone doe XD there are color e ink screens but they are lower framerate. I feel i may be stuck in that world now even doe i miss having a good camera

Interesting. Did not know they made e ink phones. Might help me with blue light and sleeping at night. Will check it out. Thanks.

Doood my first eink phone had 2 kinda back lights, one was a more normal one an the other looked like a orange glowing salt lamp. id run the orange light on lowest setting an was soo nice on the eyes. def helped my sleep. the phone was called the bigme hibreak pro, idk if i can recommend though its full of chinese goverment malware. I spent like 3 days strait trying to disable it all an setting up dns server so everything in an out the phone is checked an blocked it blocks so much stuff. for me it was so worth it cuz those 3 months i had with that phone I felt great, it was like a vacation i swear, I got the phone cuz it was the best eink phone at the time but they are known to be extremely fragile an they do not give your money back. my finally broke after 3 months when i was carving a pumpkin i pressed my leg against a chairs arm and the screen died. I messaged em for like 6 months an they sent me the last years model which doesnt have the salt lamp like light in it an i miss it like crayz. basically e ink phones exist but they have hella draw backs. like i think the only android version that supports e ink is 5 gen behind or something i forget but there is a bunch of weird stuff like that. I def enjoyed it though

Android user here. Nothing against iPhone, it's just how it worked out for me. For work I went from a Moto Razer, to a Blackberry, and Apple wasn't enterprise ready when it was time to switch so we went Android. I never saw a need to switch ecosystems since.
