Thelma & Louise looks great on the road, but the characters and story often feel too simplistic to make its ideas land. The picture is sharp and stable, with especially good detail in darker scenes, even if the color can look a little too cool. The audio is clear and full, and there are deleted and extended scenes on the disc, including an extended ending.
