This old TV movie version long predates the Marvel’ MCU, and it shows. The effects were good for 1978, and the effects, story and dialogue all seem old. This is a movie version of the play/opera/musical. I'd forgotten how good these performances were. Elaine Paige knocks it out of the park with Memory, but Macavity and Skimbleshanks were also some of my favorite numbers.
