Description

Disc 1 (4K UHD) contains April Fool's Day (1986) in 4K — a brand new HDR/Dolby Vision master from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative, with a new audio commentary by film historians Howard S. Berger, Steve Mitchell and Nathaniel Thompson. The feature film is on this disc only; the set's Blu-ray disc is bonus features only (rented separately). Muffy St. John (Deborah Foreman) brings her college friends to her parents' remote island home promising the time of their lives — without mentioning it could be the last time of their lives. No sooner have the guests arrived than someone begins cutting the guest list down, one murder at a time, and a weekend of harmless April Fool's Day pranks becomes a bloody fight to survive. From the director of When a Stranger Calls and the producer behind Body Parts, Species, and several Friday the 13th films, it's a twisty holiday-slasher classic made for April 1st viewing.
