Description

While working a routine case in Los Angeles, New York private investigator Harry D'Amour crosses paths with a fanatic cult awaiting the resurrection of its leader, Nix, who was subdued 13 years earlier by his best pupil, Swann. Swann has since become a popular stage illusionist married to the charming Dorothea, who hires D'Amour to protect him from the cult — but Swann is soon killed by one of his own tricks, events spiral, and sparks begin to fly between Dorothea and D'Amour.
