Description

Filmed clandestinely in Iran, the film follows Tehran investigating judge Iman, newly promoted as protests over a young woman's death in police custody convulse the country. The pressures of the job — and the disappearance of his service gun inside his own home — feed a mounting paranoia that turns Iman against his wife Najmeh and his daughters Rezvan and Sana, until the family's private fractures mirror the regime's public crackdown.
