Kim Novak stars as Moll Flanders in this bawdy adaptation of Daniel Defoe's novel. Arriving in 18th-century London, Moll poses as a wealthy widow to snare a rich husband — and lands a nobleman (Richard Johnson) who is himself a penniless fraud courting her for the fortune she doesn't have. Angela Lansbury, Vittorio De Sica, Leo McKern, George Sanders, and Lilli Palmer round out the cast of Terence Young's rollicking period romp.
