A mysterious writer of poison-pen letters, known only as Le Corbeau (the Raven), plagues a provincial French town, exposing the collective suspicion and rancor seething beneath the community’s calm surface. Made during the Nazi occupation of France, this film by Henri-Georges Clouzot was attacked by the right-wing Vichy regime, the left-wing Resistance press, and the Catholic Church, and was banned after the country’s liberation. But some—including Jean Cocteau and Jean-Paul Sartre—recognized the powerful subtext to Clouzot’s anti-informant, anti-Gestapo fable and worked to rehabilitate his directorial reputation after the war. Le Corbeau brilliantly captures the spirit of paranoid pettiness and self-loathing that turns an occupied French town into a twentieth-century Salem. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* “Wrestling is such a brutal business, it doesn’t surprise people that it attracts sociopaths, fame whores, coke whores, and adrenaline junkies. But why did it attract an artist?” asks Billy Corgan, frontman of The Smashing Pumpkins and wrestling promoter. It’s the central question posed in NEVERMORE: THE RAVEN EFFECT, a documentary exploring a pivotal shift in wrestling history through the eyes of Scott Levy, also known as Raven, a brilliant, self-destructive performer who helped shape the style and tone of the no-holds-barred ECW, a notoriously extreme indie promotion known for its bloody matches and use of real weapons. After being fired from WCW and WWF, NEVERMORE: THE RAVEN EFFECT follows Raven’s entry into ECW, where he brought a darker, more rebellious energy that electrified fans and helped ignite the 1990s wrestling boom. The chaos in the ring was fueled by a backstage world of drugs, alcohol, and sex. From “slip and slide rhino orgies” to being revived from an overdose by an adrenaline shot to the heart and wrestling just hours later, the line between performance and reality was dangerously thin. The film shifts between Raven’s present-day reflections and his devil-may-care past, charting a wild ride marked by untimely deaths and the looming shadow of CTE. Interviews with legends like Chris Jericho, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, DDP, and Rob Van Dam provide an unfiltered window into the era. Though hard-hitting, the documentary also captures moments of tenderness, pride, and nostalgia as Raven and his peers look back on what they built, despite the wreckage it left behind. NEVERMORE: THE RAVEN EFFECT celebrates Raven’s legacy and the transformation of wrestling...

A brutal killing spree terrorizes 19th-century Baltimore and a young detective turns to a notorious author for help getting inside the mind of a serial killer in the stylish, gothic thriller, The Raven, an audacious reimagining of the lurid tales of Edgar Allan Poe. Starring John Cusack as the infamous inventor of the detective fiction genre and Luke Evans as an ambitious sleuth determined to stop more of Poe's gruesome stories from coming to chilling life--and death--The Raven weaves history and fiction into an original and twisted mystery worthy of the master of the macabre himself. When a mother and daughter are found viciously murdered in 19th-century Baltimore, Detective Emmett Fields (Evans) makes a startling discovery: the crime resembles a fictional murder described in gory detail in the local newspaper--part of a collection of stories penned by struggling writer and social outcast Edgar Allan Poe (Cusack). But even as Poe is questioned by police, another grisly killing occurs, also inspired by a popular Poe story.A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues as the pair races to stop a madman from turning every one of the author's shocking stories into blood-curdling reality. When Poe's love, Emily (Alice Eve), becomes the killer's next target, the stakes are raised even higher and he must call on his own powers of deduction to try to solve the case before it's too late.

Director Roger Corman (The Tomb of Ligeia) and screenwriter Richard Matheson (The Last Man on Earth) deliver a tongue-in-cheek take on Edgar Allan Poe’s most famous poem. Dr. Craven (Price), the son of a great sorcerer (now dead), was once himself quite skilled at that profession, but has since abandoned it. One evening, a cowardly fool of a magician named Bedlo (Lorre) comes to Craven for help—the evil Scarabus (Karloff) has turned him into a raven and he needs someone to change him back. He also tells the reluctant wizard that Craven’s long-lost wife Lenore (Hazel Court, The Premature Burial), whom he loved greatly and thought dead, is living with the despised Scarabus. Featuring Jack Nicholson (Prizzi’s Honor) in an early screen role, this Corman-Poe classic about two wizards dueling for magical supremacy is utterly bewitching! Product Description Let your imagination take flight in an enchanting new motion picture starring the world's most beloved fairy! This year's Autumn Revelry promises to be something special. A blue harvest moon will rise, allowing the fairies to use a precious moonstone to restore the Pixie Dust Tree -- the source of all their magic. But when Tinker Bell accidentally puts all of Pixie Hollow in jeopardy, she must venture out across the sea on a secret quest to set things right. With some help from her friend Terence -- and a charming, rascally firefly named Blaze -- Tink braves an astonishing new world and discovers the greatest treasure of all. TINKER BELL AND THE LOST TREASURE is a remarkable tale about the power of true friendship that your family will want to enjoy over and over again! Review Character Descriptions Terence:Tinks best friend from the Sparrow Men, Terence is a Pixie Dust Fairy, meaning he distributes the daily ratio of Pixie Dust to all fairies in Pixie Hollow. He has a special soft spot for Tink, we know it s a crush, but he s too innocent to realize it. Blaze: Blaze is a young firefly; he s mischievous, inventive and enthusiastic. He can use his light as a flashlight, spotlight or SOS. Despite his diminutive size, he is courageous and supremely loyal to his friends. Fairy Gary:The plump, Scottish-accented head of the Pixie Dust distribution center. A stickler to detail, protocol and the rules. If a fairy has already received her share of Pixie Dust, there is no emergency great enough for him to give her more. Still, he s a good boss and treats his fellow Pixie Dust distribution fairies like family. Lyria: A pretty Story-Teller Fairy, Lyria is Pixie Hollow s equivalent of a Troubadour. Strumming on her harp, she entertains fairies by telling them stories of old, most times with an appropriate moral or lesson. She takes requests, too. Viola: A Summoning Fairy, whenever Queen Clarion needs to see a fairy, Viola is dispatched to summon them with her kazoo. Tinker Bell tends to avoid Viola because getting summoned is usually a sign of trouble. Tinker Bell: Tink is spunky, rebellious, impatient, impulsive, determined, persistent, and temperamental... yet still charming and lovable. She has a talent for tinkering, but begins to believe it s not important, and thinks she doesn t matter. When she s called on to save the day, however, she discovers how much she really matters after all. Rosetta: A Garden Fairy: Ro is a southern belle with a quick wit and a ton of charm. She s into giving beauty tips and makeovers to her friends and flowers, and always tries to look her best. Silvermist: A Water Fairy: Sil has a delightfully offbeat way of looking at everything. Often listens to rumors from her babbling brook. Usually goes with the flow... but can sometimes be wishy-washy. Iridessa: A Light Fairy: Dess is a detail-oriented perfectionist and chronic worry wart. She tries to look on the bright side of things, but often smells disaster. Always trying to keep it together. Fawn:An Animal Fairy: A rascally tomboy full of mirth and mischief. Loves to tweak Iridessa. Fawn is always ready to play, and the more rough-and-tumble the game, the better. Fairy Mary: A Tinker Fairy: Big, bold, brash and bossy. A mentor to Tink. Fairy Mary has grown to respect and admire Tink s tinker talent... to the point where she recommends Tink for the most prestigious assignment of creating the Autumn Scepter. Fairy Mary lives by the motto: Tinker fairies never fail. If Tink messes up, it will reflect badly on Fairy Mary. Clank and Bobble: Tinker Fairies: Boy tinkers and best pals who love their jobs. Clank is a big lug who always has his ears plugged with fluff (for banging on stuff), so he s always shouting. Bobble is a little guy with dewdrop goggles (for detail work) whose myopia often gets him in others personal space, he s a close talker . They re good-natured geeks who are always talking shop. Vidia: A Fast Flying Fairy: Vidia is a classic loner; she is one of the most special of special talent fairies and makes sure everyone knows it. Works with all the talents, creating breezes to blow down leaves in the fall and spread pollen in the spring. She and Tink started off on the wrong foot. Vidia is the first to criticize Tink and expect the worst... but she is capable of acknowledging when Tink succeeds. Queen Clarion: An etethereal being, she is practically Mother Nature, and is like a Mother to all the fairies. Kind and loving, but also serious and firm when necessary. --Walt Disney Studios Home Entertianment Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure Trivia Q: What do fairies call the celebration at the end of the fall season?
