Description

For all its wealth, Qatar is home to millions of street cats, many sick and starving, alongside its huge migrant workforce. When the owner of a Milwaukee cat café learns what is happening, she resolves to fly 25 of the animals to the United States so they can be adopted. The cats are in delicate condition and no official help is available, so getting them home in time becomes a race. Mye Hoang's warm, beautifully shot documentary — following her Cat Daddies — celebrates an extraordinary international rescue and shows what determined people can achieve together.
