Description

A drunken applejack salesman must go from zero to hero and become North America's greatest fur trapper by defeating hundreds of beavers. In the 19th century, applejack salesman Jean Kayak (Ryland Tews) loses everything when a colony of beavers destroys his orchard and business. Stranded in the snowy wilderness, he must learn how to survive by trapping animals and trading furs. What begins as a desperate struggle for survival gradually turns into an increasingly ambitious quest as Jean attempts to master the skills needed to thrive on the frontier. Using a blend of silent-era comedy, cartoon-inspired visual gags, and inventive practical effects, Jean faces a seemingly endless army of beavers and other woodland creatures that constantly outsmart his efforts.
