Ba by moon (babe mo on) noun: is the unique vacation you take right before your first child is born. Taking time to get away from the daily grind, as a couple, has an almost therapeutic effect and this is what reality-star Trace McEvans is counting on. He takes his pregnant wife, Hanna, on a luxurious babymoon to the beautiful country of Cartegentina in an attempt to impress upon her his seriousness in becoming a good father. When Trace and Hanna arrive, there are hints that not everything is going well with the relationship, as well as in the country. Hollywood-types frequent the same vacation spots, and Trace happens upon producer Fabrice. Insecure about providing for his growing family, Trace's schmoozing upsets Hanna. The resulting argument spurs Trace into a group of rebels who kidnap him, and it is up to Hanna to save her husband amidst a community of colorful characters that include, disorganized rebels, a people-pleasing Sheriff, and overzealous Greepeace activists.

In 1979, fresh from directing bare knuckle boxing movie Hard Times and supercool crime thriller The Driver, Walter Hill delivered his third stone cold classic in a row: The Warriors, a slam-bang, visually kinetic action movie that mixed a heightened comic-book sensibility with a timeless tale from ancient Greece and set them loose in the streets of modern America. In New York the gangs outnumber the cops by 5-1. Together, they could rule the city. Gang-leader Cyrus has a dream to do just that and calls a summit. The gangs of New York gather in their thousands, Cyrus takes the stage. From somewhere in the crowd a shot rings out and Cyrus falls down dead. In the chaos that follows, a small gang from Coney Island – the Warriors – are blamed. Now everyone is out to get them. On foot, in enemy territory, can they make it through the night to get back across the city to the safety of home turf? Description

A battle of gigantic proportions is looming in the neon underground of New York City. The armies of the night number 100,000; they outnumber the police 5 to 1; and tonight they're after the Warriors - a street gang blamed unfairly for a rival gang leader's death. This contemporary action-adventure story takes place at night, underground, in the sub-culture of gang warfare that rages from Coney Island to Manhattan to the Bronx. Members of the Warriors fight for their lives, seek to survive in the urban jungle and learn the meaning of loyalty. This intense and stylized film is a dazzling achievement for cinematographer Andrew Laszlo.
