Julio, the sheltered son of a wealthy Asturian businessman, carries a childhood trauma that has left him terrified of women — and prone to murderous violence. After garrotting a prostitute with piano wire in Avilés, he flees to a Madrid boarding house, where the landlady's teenage daughter Mónica falls for him even as the newspapers report more killings by the 'wire killer.' The police have no lead, Mónica's mother cannot keep her away from the charming new lodger, and the girl drifts steadily toward becoming his next victim in this rare Spanish giallo, the only feature directed by critic Jesús García de Dueñas.

Product Description An Erotic Masterpiece from the Tortured Pen of the Marquis De Sade Romina Power (18-year-old daughter of Tyrone Power) stars as Justine, a nubile young virgin cast out of a French orphanage and thrust into a depraved world of prostitution, predatory lesbians, a fugitive murderess (Mercedes McCambridge), bondage, branding, and one supremely sadistic monk (an outrageous performance by Jack Palance). It's a twisted tale of strange desires, perverse pleasures and the ultimate corruption of innocence as told by the Marquis de Sade. JUSTINE is one of the most lavish and bizarre erotic shockers ever made by the notorious Jess Franco (99 WOMEN), bursting with wanton nudity, sexual perversion, and an all-star cast that also includes Akim Tamiroff (TOUCH OF EVIL), Maria Rohm (EUGENIE) and Klaus Kinski (NOSFERATU) as the Marquis de Sade. Also known as JUSTINE AND JULIET, this infamous film is now presented in a brand-new 4K restoration from the uncensored original camera negative with Dolby Vision HDR and loaded with Extras, including the alternate DEADLY SANCTUARY cut in HD for the first time ever!
