Mondo Macabro presents I HATE MY BODY - A man's brain, trapped in a woman's body! Lecherous businessmen Ernest and Peter go out for an evening of fun with two girls from work. There's a lot of drinking and dancing and more than a little suggestion of frolics to follow, particularly when Ernest has the idea they swap partners. With the willing Rita by his side, he sets off in his car, roaring with laughter as they speed into the dark night. Momentarily distracted as he glances at his attractive passenger, Ernest loses control of the car. They crash into the side of a bridge and the vehicle bursts into flames. The bodies are rushed to the nearest hospital where both Ernest and his passenger are certified dead on arrival. However, the hospital's surgeon, Dr. Adolf Berger, a former medic in a Nazi death camp, discovers that Ernest's brain is still intact. Encouraged by his female assistant, Lydia, Berger decides to try out his long cherished experiment- transplanting a brain from one body to another. However, the only body available is that of a young woman, Leda Schmidt, also technically dead in the hospital morgue. Casting aside all scruples, Berger begins the operation! This outrageous film, which now has much contemporary relevance, was directed by horror specialist Leon Klimovsky, the man behind Paul Naschy's WEREWOLF and THE VAMPIRE WOMAN, and numerous other Spanish "fantaterror" classics. In his last starring role, comedy legend W.C. Fields (It’s a Gift, My Little Chickadee, The Bank Dick) plays himself in a takeoff on the eccentricities of filmmaking. It’s a harum-scarum collection of song, slapstick and thumbnail sketches, the likes of which defy dramatic law! The focus of the story is on Fields’ presentation of an imaginative script for a new picture at Esoteric Pictures, Inc. The script turns out to be a vehicle for himself—a hero who makes Superman look like a wimp. It’s a Fields-day on a vaudeville bill, with the bulbous-nosed star in every act! In one he is a Russian mujik sampling fermented goat’s milk; elsewhere he drops 2,000 feet from a cliff; in another he goes a-wooing in a tailcoat requiring two flunkies to carry the tails. He even embarks on a frantic car chase, in vintage Keystone Cops style. The mayhem was staged by the great Edward F. Cline, the director of many classic Buster Keaton shorts and features, including One Week, Convict 13, The Haunted House, The Boat and Three Ages. Special Features: Audio Commentary by Film Historian Eddy Von Mueller Wayne and Shuster Take an Affectionate Look at W.C. Fields: Vintage Documentary Trailers

Stop motion FX wizard David (BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED, PUPPET MASTER) Allen's long-planned passion project was shelved in the 1990's after Allen passed away from cancer. In 1974, Leon Gast (Our Latin Thing) traveled to Africa to film Zaire 74, a music festival planned to accompany an unprecedented sports spectacle: the Rumble in the Jungle, in which late-career underdog Muhammad Ali would contend with the younger powerhouse George Foreman for the boxing heavyweight championship title—“a fight between two blacks in a black nation, organized by blacks,” as a Kinshasa billboard put it. When the main event was delayed, extending Ali’s stay in Africa, Gast wound up amassing a treasure trove of footage, capturing the wildly charismatic athlete training for one of the toughest bouts of his career while basking in his role as black America’s proud ambassador to postcolonial Africa. Two decades in the making, When We Were Kings features interviews with Norman Mailer and George Plimpton that illustrate the sensational impact of the fight, rounding out an Academy Award–winning portrait of Ali that captures his charm, grace, and defiance.
