Disc 2 contains Felidae (1994), plus audio commentary by Dr. Will Dodson and Ryan Verrill, an interview with director Michael Schaack, an interview with designer Armen Melkonian, and an interview with the animation team. Francis, a house cat newly arrived in a strange neighborhood, teams up with the battle-scarred tom Blaubart to investigate a series of gruesome murders among the local cat population. Their search leads into catacombs watched over by Jesaja, a blind guardian of the dead, and toward a mystery involving a decades-old death cult, genetic experiments, and a prophet-like figure from the cats' past. Michael Schaack's animated feature — a feline detective story steeped in Gothic horror — is adult animation in the mold of Watership Down and Plague Dogs, restored in 4K by Deaf Crocodile for its first official U.S. release.
