Product Description Arbelos Films presents TWLIGHT - Directed by longtime Béla Tarr collaborator György Fehér - never before available on DVD or Blu-ray in North America. After discovering the murdered body of a young girl deep in a mountainous forest, a hardened homicide detective pushes himself to increasingly obsessive ends in his quest to catch the serial killer - known only as "The Giant" - responsible for the crime. Stunningly lensed in rich blacks and cascading grays by DP Miklós Gurbán (WERCKMEISTER HARMONIES), Arbelos is proud to present TWILIGHT for its first-ever U.S. release in a brand new 4K restoration by the National Film Institute - Hungarian Film Archive and FilmLab, supervised by Gurbán. Review Call it Twin Peaks without the jokes… The mood it builds is soul-shaking. --Sheri Linden, Hollywood Reporter Fehér has created a masterpiece that continues the reputation of Hungary's 80s and 90s cinema as a goldmine. --Soham Gadre, Film Inquiry It's a style so minimalist, it approaches maximalism - and this combination of pulp and precision creates an arresting and unique work of film noir. --Teo Bugbee, The New York Times Top
