Product Description Altered Innocence presents KNIFE+HEART - A queer slasher film beyond your wildest dreams! Paris, Summer 1979. Anne (French pop star Vanessa Paradis) produces third-rate gay erotic cinema. After her editor and lover Lois leaves her, she tries to win her back by shooting her most ambitious film yet with her trusted, flaming sidekick Archibald. But one of her actors is brutally murdered and Anne gets caught up in a strange investigation that turns her life upside-down. Shot on 35mm and featuring a killer retro score from M83, Yann Gonzalez's KNIFE+HEART is an ultra-stylish and blood-soaked ode to '70s-era De Palma, Argento, and Friedkin. Special Features: Interview with Director Yann Gonzalez and co-writer Cristiano Mangione. Short Film: Islands (Les îles) by Yann Gonzalez. Music Video: Les vacances continuent. A Gothic Video Introduction by Pierre Emö. De Sperme et d'eau Fraiche. International Trailer, U.S. Theatrical Trailer, XXX Trailer, Other Trailers. Reversible Artwork. Foldout Poster Insert. Review A gleefully trashy exploitation film with a heart of gold that deserves a place in the queer horror hall of fame. --Bloody Disgusting Like excerpts from a lost Italian Gallo. --A.V. Club If Dario Argento, Brian De Palma and Kenneth Anger conceived a three-way love child while watching CRUISING and listening to a Giorgio Moroder mix tape, the result would be something like French director Yann Gonzalez's KNIFE+HEART. --The Hollywood Reporter
