A martial arts team invades a cult's island fortress to rescue a senator's daughter in this action-packed 1980s thriller. A powerful and dangerous cult, hidden on a remote island fortress, has brainwashed the daughter of a U.S. senator. With local authorities powerless and time running out, the government turns to a highly specialized team of martial arts experts known as "Force: Five." Led by seasoned agent Jim Martin, the team includes five elite fighters, each with unique combat skills--from unarmed street-fighting and karate to high-impact kickboxing. Their mission: infiltrate the island compound, uncover the secrets of the cult's charismatic and manipulative leader, and rescue the senator's daughter before she becomes permanently indoctrinated--or worse. From writer / director Robert Clouse, the auteur of Bruce Lee's legendary Enter the Dragon and Jackie Chan's The Big Brawl, along with a diverse cast of martial arts legends including Joe Lewis (Bloodfight 2: The Deathcage), Bong Soo Han (Kill The Golden Goose), Sonny Barnes (Black Belt Jones), Benny "The Jet" Urquidez (Dragons Forever) and Richard Norton (Mad Max: Fury Road) & Amanda Wyss (A Nightmare on Elm Street), comes this early 1980's entry in the classic martial arts action genre that's "a lot of fun and that's precisely what makes the film so entertaining and has a sense of humor about itself and is a very cute, little action picture" (Gene Siskel, Sneak Previews). As the team makes their way through the treacherous island, they face deadly traps, cult enforcers, and mind-controlled followers willing to kill for their cause. Along the way, personal rivalries and brutal tests of strength push the team to their limits. The deeper they go, the more they realize the cult's influence is stronger and more sinister than they imagined. Packed with fast-paced martial arts action, stylized combat sequences, and the gritty energy of 1980s genre cinema, Force: Five is a high-stakes showdown between good and evil. It delivers a thrilling blend of martial arts mayhem, suspense, and cult intrigue, appealing to fans of old-school tournament-style action films and exotic adventure thrillers. Martin Scorsese’s cinematic mastery is on full display in this sweeping crime saga, which serves as an elegiac summation of his six-decade career. Left behind by the world, former hit man and union truck driver Frank Sheeran (Robert DeNiro) looks back from a nursing home on his life’s journey through the ranks of organized crime: from his involvement with Philadelphia mob boss Russell Bufalino (Joe Pesci) to his association with Teamsters union head Jimmy Hoffa (Al Pacino) to the rift that forced him to choose between the two. An intimate story of loyalty and betrayal writ large across the epic canvas of mid-twentieth-century American history, The Irishman (based on the real-life Sheeran’s confessions, as told to writer Charles Brandt for the book I Heard You Paint Houses) is a uniquely reflective late-career triumph that balances its director’s virtuoso set pieces with a profoundly personal rumination on aging, mortality, and the decisions and regrets that shape a life. DIRECTOR-APPROVED TWO-BLU-RAY SPECIAL EDITION FEATURES New 4K digital master, approved by director Martin Scorsese, with Dolby Atmos soundtrack Newly edited roundtable conversation among Scorsese and actors Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci, originally recorded in 2019 Making “The Irishman,” a new program featuring Scorsese; the lead actors; producers Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Jane Rosenthal, and Irwin Winkler; director of photography Rodrigo Prieto; and others from the cast and crew Gangster’s Requiem, a new video essay by film critic Farran Smith Nehme about The Irishman’s synthesis of Scorsese’s singular formal style Anatomy of a Scene: “The Irishman,” a 2020 program featuring Scorsese’s analysis of the Frank Sheeran Appreciation Night scene from the film The Evolution of Digital De-aging, a 2019 program on the visual effects created for the film Excerpted interviews with Frank “the Irishman” Sheeran and Teamsters trade-union leader Jimmy Hoffa from 1999 and 1963 Trailer and teaser English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing PLUS: An essay by critic Geoffrey O’Brien

Remastered, uncut and beautifully restored, now you can see The Little Rascals like never before! With restorations so glorious, it will be like watching these iconic shorts for the first time! Hal Roach's Our Gang series is one of the longest running and most prolific in the field of short subjects with 220 one- and two-reel comedies released between 1922 and 1944. The secret to the longevity of the series, as well as its appeal to generations long after its conclusion, is mainly due to Roach’s choice to cast kids who came across as “natural” on the screen—scruffy underdogs that moviegoers could identify with or wish they could be—not glossy “showbiz professionals”. After producing 88 silent Our Gang shorts, Roach transitioned to sound releasing 80 “talkies” in the series starting with Small Talk in 1929. It took time to fine-tune the adjustment from silent to sound, but soon the studio began firing on all cylinders producing classics like Shivering Shakespeare and The First Seven Years (both 1930). The Little Rascals - The ClassicFlix Restorations, Volume 1 contains the first 11 Our Gang sound shorts produced by Roach at the dawn of the “talkie era": Small Talk to A Tough Winter—with each short newly scanned and restored from original Hal Roach 35mm film elements. A must-have for any true Our Gang fan, Volume 1 features the talents of Jackie Cooper, Allen “Farina” Hoskins, Mary Ann Jackson, Bobby “Wheezer" Hutchins, Joe Cobb, Harry Spear and Norman “Chubby" Chaney.
