Product Description THE CREATORS OF ALIEN BRING A NEW TERROR TO EARTH Something very strange is happening in the quiet coastal village of Potters Bluff, where tourists and transients are warmly welcomed... then brutally murdered. But even more shocking is when these slain strangers suddenly reappear as normal, friendly citizens around town. Now the local sheriff (James Farentino of THE FINAL COUNTDOWN) and an eccentric mortician (Academy Award winner Jack Albertson of WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY) must uncover the horrific secret of a community where some terrifying traditions are alive and well... and no one is ever really DEAD & BURIED. Melody Anderson (FLASH GORDON), Lisa Blount (PRINCE OF DARKNESS), and Robert Englund (A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET) co-star in this genuinely chilling horror hit written by Ronald Shusett and Dan O'Bannon (ALIEN), directed by Gary A. Sherman (POLTERGEIST III), and featuring ultra-grisly gore effects by Oscar winner Stan Winston (JURASSIC PARK). Now Blue Underground is proud to present DEAD & BURIED in an eye-popping new restoration approved by Director of Photography Steven Poster, ASC (DONNIE DARKO), scanned in 4K 16-bit from its 35mm IP, with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio, and packed with Extras! SPECIAL FEATURES: Ultra HD Blu-ray (2160p) Widescreen 1.85:1 feature presentation Audio: Dolby Atmos (English); 5.1 DTS-HD (English); 1.0 DTS-HD (English, French) Subtitles: English SDH, Francais, Espanol Audio Commentary #1 with Director Gary Sherman Audio Commentary #2 with Co-Writer/Co-Producer Ronald Shusett and Actress Linda Turley Audio Commentary #3 with Director of Photography Steven Poster, ASC Audio Commentary #4 with Film Historians Troy Howarth and Nathaniel Thompson Behind the Scenes of Dead & Buried Dead & Buried Locations: Now & Then Murders, Mystery, and Music - Interviews with Director Gary Sherman and Composer Joe Renzetti The Pages of Potters Bluff - Interview with Novelization Author Chelsea Quinn Yarbro Stan Winston's Dead & Buried EFX Robert Englund: An Early Work of Horror Dan O'Bannon: Crafting Fear Theatrical Trailers Poster & Still Galleries Steven Poster’s Location Stills Review Grade: A+ ! A favorite of filmmakers like Guillermo Del Toro, DEAD & BURIED holds up beautifully as an effective piece of atmospheric horror cinema, the likes of which are rarely made. Blue Underground does another stellar job at restoring the film with an amazing A/V presentation in UHD and a bulky and entertaining extras package to go with it. Like all of their releases, this is an essential purchase. Highly recommended! --The Digital Bits

Product Description Far-fetched but plausible, this is a story about an aircraft carrier traveling backwards in time, just before the start of WWII. The USS Nimitz is cruising peacefully 200 miles off Pearl Harbor when it is suddenly caught in a massive electrical storm and almost immediately the sea becomes calm again. The reconnaissance photos taken after the storm plots their position and indicates a blow-up of Pearl Harbor, circa 1941 with the battleship Arizona visible in the photo. This seems impossible. It dawns on the officers that somehow they have traveled back in time. The crew must now decide whether or not to change the course of history. Special Features Audio Commentary with Director of Photography Victor J. Kemper Lloyd Kaufman Goes Hollywood - Interview with Associate Producer Lloyd Kaufman Starring the Jolly Rogers - Interviews with the Jolly Rogers F-14 Fighter Squadron Theatrical Trailers TV Spots Enhanced for D-Box Motion Control Systems Review "A FANTASTIC TALE... Intelligent And Entertaining!" --Time Magazine "HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... One Of The Coolest Movies I've Seen In Quite Some Time!" --DVD Verdict "Truly Spectacular!" --The New York Post

Product Description The time is now. The place is aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz, America's mightiest nuclear-powered aircraft carrier on maneuvers in the Pacific Ocean. Suddenly, a freak electrical storm engulfs the ship and triggers the impossible: The Nimitz is hurtled back in time to December 6, 1941, mere hours before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. As the enemy fleet speeds towards Hawaii, the warship's Captain (Kirk Douglas), a Defense Department expert (Martin Sheen), a maverick Air Wing Commander (James Farentino) and a desperate Senator in the Roosevelt administration (Charles Durning) must choose between the unthinkable. Do they allow the Japanese to complete their murderous invasion, or launch a massive counterstrike that will forever change the course of history?Katharine Ross and Ron O'Neal co-star in this spellbinding sci-fi action hit filmed on location aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz with the full participation of the U.S. Navy and the ship's crew. Now Blue Underground is proud to present THE FINAL COUNTDOWN in a stunning new restoration, scanned in 4K 16-bit from the original 35mm camera negative, with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio, for the ultimate in explosive home theater excitement! Brand New HD Master! From childhood, slightly awkward Brooklyn teenager Natalie Miller (Patty Duke, Valley of the Dolls, The Miracle Worker) never has subscribed to her mother’s (Nancy Merchand, TV’s The Sopranos) determined belief that she will grow up to be pretty. Her best friend Betty (Deborah Winters, Kotch) is a knockout gorgeous blonde with boyfriends, which further depresses her. Then she meets handsome David Harris (James Farentino, The War Lord), who finally convinces her that she’s a worthwhile human being and not the ugly duckling she always imagined herself to be. Television veteran Fred Coe (A Thousand Clowns) directed this sweet and charming comedy-drama written by A. Martin Zweiback (Grace Quigley) and Stanley Shapiro (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and featuring a Grammy-nominated score by the great Henry Mancini (The Pink Panther). Patty Duke won the 1970 Golden Globe for Best Actress – Comedy or Musical for her endearing performance. The stellar cast includes Martin Balsam (After the Fox), Elsa Lanchester (Witness for the Prosecution), Bob Balaban (Cradle Will Rock) and screen legend Al Pacino (Dog Day Afternoon) in his feature film debut. Special Features: -Brand New HD Master -Optional English Subtitles -Dual-Layered BD50 Disc -Trailers
