Description

Queen Budapest marks the 40th anniversary of the first Western stadium rock show staged behind the Iron Curtain — and the last Queen performance ever filmed. Captured on July 27, 1986, at Budapest's Népstadion during the Magic Tour, the concert has been meticulously restored in 4K from the original 35mm footage by Sir Peter Jackson's Park Road Post Production, with audio newly remixed from the original multitrack recordings. Before a sold-out crowd of 80,000 — with an estimated 45,000 more listening outside — Queen deliver a career-spanning set including 'We Will Rock You', 'We Are The Champions', 'A Kind Of Magic', 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love', 'Under Pressure', 'Who Wants To Live Forever', 'Hammer To Fall' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody', in a landmark performance that shows Freddie Mercury and the band at the height of their powers.
