Following on from the enormous success of his breakthrough film Django, Franco Nero returned to the Wild West (Almería, Spain) to star in the same year s Texas Adios, which was released as Django 2 in some countries. Here he plays tough gunslinger Burt Sullivan, a sheriff who, along with his younger brother (Alberto Dell'Acqua, Endgame), journeys to Mexico to hunt down the sadistic bandit Cisco Delgado and avenge his father s murder. When Burt and his brother fall in with a group of Mexican revolutionaries, the stage is set for a violent climatic confrontation... Directed by veteran helmsman Ferdinado Baldi, best known for the cult Western Blindman (starring Beatles tub-thumper Ringo Starr) and the 3D extravaganza Comin' at Ya!, Texas Adios is a lesser-known Spaghetti Western gem, which boasts rapid-fire action scenes, stunning locations and stylish cinematography courtesy of Enzo Barboni (Django, Nightmare Castle). The film is presented here in an exclusive new restoration, with a wealth of extras which allow this film to be enjoyed as never before. Action director Don Siegel (Dirty Harry, Invasion of the Body Snatchers) directs this fast-paced western with beloved character actors Edgar Buchanan and Jack Elam supporting the action. Sheriff Les Martin (Cornel Wilde, The Naked Prey, Leave Her to Heaven) is puzzled in his investigation of three mysterious murders near the Grand Canyon. Lacking any clues, Les enlists his girlfriend Janice Kendon (Victoria Shaw, The Eddy Duchin Story), daughter of a retired mine owner, and bartender Scotty O'Brien (Mickey Shaughnessy) to help with the case. When Janice's brother, Bob (Rian Garrick), leads Les and Janice to a rendezvous with an associate in the middle of it all, Sheriff Martin is drawn into a dangerous -- and deadly -- chase high above the Grand Canyon's floor. Newly remastered.

No sex, please -- we're on our honeymoon! After a showgirl (Debbie Reynolds) and an Air Force sergeant (Glenn Ford) head to the altar on the basis of one torrid smooch, the bride begins having second thoughts. After all, marriage can't be based on sexual chemistry alone. So she decrees a month of connubial celibacy to test if the newlyweds are really meant for each other. Think they'll make the whole 30 days? Funny, frisky and (just a bit) risque, Reynolds and Ford aren't the only joys in this romantic comedy set in and around a Madrid U.S. air base. Other pluses include a strong supporting cast; exotic Spanish locales; and a glamorous, plot-promoting red Lincoln Futura, which found fame a few years later as TV's Batmobile.

In this brilliant, moving film directed by Sam Peckinpah (The Wild Bunch), cowboy icons Randolph Scott and Joel McCrea find roles to match their leathery Western personas, playing aging lawmen hired to guard a gold shipment. They don’t have much: a horse each, a couple of dollars. And they have everything: their independence. But the frontier is disappearing – and so is space wide open enough for independent men. With luck, the two will find space enough for this ride and one last payday. They will also find adventure, including the dramatic rescue of a mistreated bride (Mariette Hartley), gun-blazing shoot-outs and a life-changing betrayal. Both an exciting Western and a heart-lifting homage to the genre, Ride the High Country is a journey into film greatness.
