Romero and Stephen King deliver yet another selection of blood-curdling tales in Creepshow 2, the follow-up to the 1982 horror classic. In "Old Chief Wood'nhead", a group of young hoodlums face retribution from an unlikely source after looting a local hardware store. Meanwhile, "The Raft" sees a group of horny teens wishing they'd read the warning signs first before taking a dip in a remote lake. Finally, an uptight businesswoman finds herself with some unwanted company following a hit-and-run incident in "The Hitch-hiker". From Frank Borzage, the acclaimed director of 7th Heaven, Street Angel, Bad Girl, A Farewell to Arms, Desire, The Mortal Storm and Moonrise, comes this gripping story about the powerful healing ability of the human spirit. John Wesley Beaven (John Howard, The Undying Monster), an understudy of Dr. ‘Tubby’ Forster (Akim Tamiroff, For Whom the Bell Tolls), esteemed professor of medicine and surgery, struggles to fully surrender to his teacher’s philosophy of keeping the sterility of science separate from the warmth of the human spirit. His views are challenged after he falls in love with Lan Ying (Dorothy Lamour, Road to Morocco), a Chinese woman of American descent raised in Shanghai. Upon completion of paying a personal debt to her Chinese father, she promptly returns to John to accept his marriage proposal but is interjected by Forster claiming that she would ruin his life. When John becomes aware that Forster has interfered, he sets out to find his love in China. Beautifully shot in black-and-white by the great William C. Mellor (A Place in the Sun, The Diary of Anne Frank). Special Features: -NEW Audio Commentary by Film Critic Nick Pinkerton -Trailers -Optional English Subtitles

Description
Like Webster’s dictionary, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour are “Morocco-bound” in the third and considered by most to be the best entry in the popular Road series. Survivors of a Mediterranean shipwreck, stowaways Jeff (Crosby) and Orville (Hope) paddle to a North African shore and hitch a camel ride across the desert to Morocco. In order to buy food, Jeff sells Orville into slavery—but Orville’s owner turns out to be the luscious Princess Shalmar (Lamour), who quickly offers to become his wife. Unfortunately, the true reason for the Princess’s proposal soon becomes clear. Her prophet has warned that her first husband will meet a violent death within days of their marriage, so she decided to marry Orville instead of her beloved Mullay Kasim (Anthony Quinn). Nominated for two Oscars including Original Screenplay, Road to Morocco is highlighted by Bing’s rendition of one of his best-loved songs, the unforgettable “Moonlight Becomes You,” and the memorable title song by Hope and Crosby. Directed by David Butler (They Got Me Covered). Special Features: -NEW Audio Commentary by Film Historian Jack Theakston -Bob Hope and the Road to Success -Command Performance 1945 -Trailers From Hell with John Landis -Theatrical Trailer
