Description

This product is the Blu-ray disc of Love on the Run from Criterion's The Adventures of Antoine Doinel set. It contains the film and special features, including a rare television interview excerpt with Truffaut and actress/co-writer Marie-France Pisier discussing their working styles and their feelings about Love on the Run. In the final chapter of Truffaut's saga, Antoine Doinel — now in his thirties, amicably divorcing Christine and enjoying moderate success as a novelist — falls for Sabine, a young record-store clerk, and pursues her with his undiminished belief that without love, one is nothing. Reunions with former loves, interwoven with flashbacks to the earlier films, force him to confront his own chaotic past.
