Description

After sleeping through his cult's long-planned mass suicide, a loudmouthed slacker tracks down his fraudulent former messiah and talks him into starting their doomsday commune over. Crossing middle America together, the two recruit a soldier wannabe, an unstable mother and an enigmatic hitchhiker — but as their new family of misfits takes shape, they have to decide whether to go through with their transcendent destiny or admit that life might be worth living after all.
