SCARY TALES proves that the films of John Waters and Don Dohler aren't the only genre miracles from Baltimore. A shot-on-video horror anthology that plays out like a public access version of CREEPSHOW, this is what happens when Satanic necklaces, bloodthirsty slashers, and DUNGEONS & DRAGONS-styled live action role playing collide with cool dads, neon lightbulbs, and dungeon synthesizers. AGFA and Bleeding Skull! Are thrilled to present this charming, gore-filled dreamscape that has been meticulously pieced together from it's original S-VHS master tapes. Top Similar From the Brand

A 2K preservation of Ed Wood's long-lost final film! Ed Wood was the filmmaker behind PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE, the author of hundreds of adult novels, and a pall-bearer at Bela Lugosi's funeral. Wood fought in the Pacific Ocean theater during World War II while wearing a bra and panties under his uniform. Basically, there will never be another hero like Ed Wood. And there will never be another movie like TAKE IT OUT IN TRADE. Unseen for almost fifty years, this is a surreal sexploitation detective comedy that would feel right at home on a triple-bill with John Waters's MULTIPLE MANIACS and Russ Meyer's THE IMMORAL MR. TEAS. With delirious narration by Wood himself, positive depictions of LGBTQ relationships, and a miraculous role by Ed Wood in drag as ''Alecia,'' TAKE IT OUT IN TRADE is a joyous swan song from one of the most seminal exploitation filmmakers of all time. SPECIAL FEATURES New 2K preservation from the only 16mm theatrical print in existence! 2-Disc set includes both a Blu-ray and a DVD! Commentary track with filmmaker Frank Henenlotter (BASKET CASE), Ed Wood biographer Rudolph Grey, and AGFA's Joseph A. Ziemba! TAKE IT OUT IN TRADE: THE OUTTAKES, 70 minutes of unseen footage scanned in 2K! Exclusive liner notes by Ed Wood biographer Rudolph Grey! Bonus movie: THE LOVE FEAST (1969) starring Ed Wood, scanned in 2K from an original 35mm theatrical print! Reversible cover art!

Expect the unexpectable! Best in da world! A gonzo Wakaliwood double feature, never before on home video! Welcome to Wakaliwood, Uganda: home of ''DA BEST OF DA BEST MOVIES! '' and the vanguards of DIY commando cinema! Under the guidance of writer-director-producer Nabwana Isaac Godfrey Geoffrey (IGG) and with producer-star Alan Ssali Hofmanis, this crack crew of self-taught filmmakers and martial arts aficionados produce dozens of gonzo action films in the Kampala ghetto with budgets that rarely exceed $200 USD. Utilizing scrap parts to build computers, machine guns, and a full-sized Huey helicopter, these real-life superheroes inspire more heart, imagination, and soul than a thousand Hollywood blockbusters. AGFA is proud to bring two of the most reckless, out-of-control brain-blasts in the Wakaliwood canon to home video for the first time ever -- WHO KILLED CAPTAIN ALEX and BAD BLACK! And in Uganda's finest storytelling tradition, the films are complemented by the acerbic wit of narrator/VJ (Video Joker) VJ Emmie, who sums up the Wakaliwood experience with a single sentiment: ''It is a love story . . . LOVE OF ACTION! '' NOTE: These films were fueled by love and created with DIY equipment. Please approach the technical quality of the transfers with empathy.
