Hospice patient Samira (Lupita Nyong'o) wearily agreed to join a group outing to Manhattan for a show and a slice. She couldn't have anticipated that the city would become the nexus of an extraterrestrial attack by sightless, sound-sensitive ravagers-or that she'd be thrown together with Brit law student Eric (Joseph Quinn) for a wholly different kind of fight for survival. From producer/director Fred Zinnemann comes Behold a Pale Horse (1964), a somber yet harrowingly suspenseful thriller of personal conviction in the face of political repression, set against the backdrop of the dark decades following the 1936-1939 Spanish Civil War. In charismatic and charged performances, Gregory Peck plays an exiled guerrilla fighter, Anthony Quinn is the dogged police chief who lays a trap to catch him, and Omar Sharif portrays a priest who intervenes to prevent the antagonists’ inevitable confrontation. Starkly photographed on French locations by Jean Badal, and powerfully scored by three-time Academy Award winner Maurice Jarre.

Screen icon Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner, Wanted: Dead or Alive) stars as blind Vietnam vet Nick Parker, who, with the calm of a Zen master and the precision of a sharpshooter, takes on a gang of ruthless Mafia killers in this action-packed odyssey from director Phillip Noyce (Dead Calm, Patriot Games). Armed with a razor-sharp sword and a cutting wit, Parker is one blind man who doesn’t bluff when the going gets tough. Caught in the crossfire of a gangland vendetta against his best friend (Terry O’Quinn, The Stepfather), Parker and his buddy’s young son are pursued across country by a barbaric band of homicidal thugs (led by hulking ex-boxer Randall “Tex” Cobb, Raising Arizona). Using superhuman senses and a hidden samurai sword, Parker slices his way through a slam-bang adventure and a drop-dead finale that’s every bit as funny as it is ferocious. Featuring Noble Willingham (Career Opportunities), Lisa Blount (Prince of Darkness), Meg Foster (They Live) and martial arts legend Shô Kosugi (Revenge of the Ninja). Portrait of Andy Kaufman's wild genius, legacy, and unseen footage--told by those who knew him best. A deep dive into comedy's greatest enigma. FROM THE FILMMAKERS BEHIND UNCUT GEMS AND WONT YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR? LIFE IS A BEAUTIFUL AND CONFUSING PERFORMANCE THANK YOU VERY MUCH traces the life and career of legendary performance artist Andy Kaufman, exploring the enigmatic legend's gonzo, boundary-shattering comedy which provoked and often outraged audiences. The film includes rare, never before seen footage and audio recordings that shed new light on Kaufman's creative process; including newly uncovered archival footage and intimate recollections of friends, colleagues, and family members, and interviews with Kaufman's closest collaborators such as Bob Zmuda, Lynne Margulies, Steve Martin, Danny DeVito, and Marilu Henner. Description
One hundred years after his birth, Federico Fellini still stands apart as a giant of the cinema. The Italian maestro is defined by his dualities: the sacred and the profane, the masculine and the feminine, the provincial and the urbane. He began his career working in the slice-of-life poetry of neorealism, and though he soon spun off on his own freewheeling creative axis, he never lost that grounding, evoking his dreams, memories, and obsessions on increasingly grand scales in increasingly grand productions teeming with carnivalesque imagery and flights of phantasmagoric surrealism while maintaining an earthy, embodied connection to humanity. Bringing together fourteen of the director’s greatest spectacles, all beautifully restored, this centenary box set is a monument to an artist who conjured a cinematic universe all his own: a vision of the world as a three-ring circus in which his innermost infatuations, fears, and fantasies take center stage. Fifteen-Blu-Ray special edition collector's set features. • New 4K restorations of 11 theatrical features, with uncompressed monaural soundtracks for all films • New digital restorations of the short film Toby Dammit (1968) and the television film Fellini: A Director’s Notebook (1969), with uncompressed monaural soundtracks • Feature documentaries Fellini: I’m a Born Liar (2002) and Marcello Mastroianni: I Remember (1997), the latter presented in its 193-minute version • Two-hour, four-part 1960 interview with director Federico Fellini by filmmaker André Delvaux for Belgian television • Four behind-the-scenes documentaries: Reporter’s Diary: “Zoom on Fellini” (1965), Ciao, Federico (1969), The Secret Diary of “Amarcord” (1974), and Fellini racconta: On the Set of “And the Ship Sails On” (1983) • Fellini racconta: Passegiatte nella memoria, a 2000 documentary featuring interviews with a late-in-life Fellini • Giulietta Masina: The Power of a Smile, a 2004 documentary about Fellini’s wife and frequent collaborator • Once Upon a Time: “La dolce vita,” a French television documentary about the film • Audio commentaries on six of the films • Program from 2003 on Fellini's 1980s television advertising work • Archival interviews with Fellini stars and collaborators, including Mastroianni, Sandra Milo, Anouk Aimée, and Magali Noël • Archival audio interviews by film critic Gideon Bachmann with Fellini, Mastroianni, and Fellini's friends and family • Video essays, trailers, and more • PLUS: Deluxe packaging, including two lavishly illustrated books with hundreds of pages of content: notes on the films by scholar David Forgacs, essays by filmmakers Michael Almereyda, Kogonada, and Carol Morley; film critics Bilge Ebiri and Stephanie Zacharek; and novelist Colm Tóibín, and dozens of images spotlighting Don Young’s renowned collection of Fellini memorabilia.

Screen greats Bob Hope (My Favorite Blonde, Road to Utopia) and Paulette Goddard (Nothing But the Truth, Reap the Wild Wind) co-star in another comedy-thriller, a year after their smash hit The Cat and the Canary. Ghosts and gags collide in this witches’ brew of laughs, with Bob Hope as a Manhattan radio commentator who finds himself marooned on an island of the walking dead! Larry Lawrence (Hope), sought in connection with a murder he did not commit, eludes New York police by hiding in a steamer trunk. Soon the trunk (and Larry) are aboard a ship bound for Cuba, where the trunk’s owner, pretty Mary Carter (Goddard), is sailing to take possession of a recent inheritance: a “haunted” castle. Sensing that Mary is in danger, Larry and his valet Alex (Willie Best, Whispering Ghosts) precede her to the island, which is inhabited by a ghost, a zombie and perhaps even a flesh-and-blood fiend. There’s romance, comedy and chills as Hope and Goddard contend with earthly and un-earthly foes—and try to keep from ending up as ghosts themselves. Director George Marshall (Murder, He Says) also directed the 1953 remake, Scared Stiff, starring Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. The stellar cast includes Paul Lukas (The Lady Vanishes), Anthony Quinn (Zorba the Greek) and Paul Fix (El Dorado). Special Features: -Brand New 2K Master -NEW Audio Commentary by Author/Film Historian Lee Gambin -TRAILERS FROM HELL with with Larry Karaszewski -Theatrical Trailer -Optional English Subtitles

The new tenant's name: Elliot Garfield. Profession: actor. Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason deliver comedy, zingy repartee and bitter-to-best romance in The Goodbye Girl, a lustrous charmer featuring Dreyfuss' Academy Award -winning Best Actor performance.* Neil Simon's screenplay deftly combines battle-of-the-sexes appeal with an off-Broadway subplot whose scenes "are the funniest since Mel Brooks staged 'Springtime for Hitler' [in The Producers]" (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times). Product Description Gregory Peck, David Niven and Anthony Quinn attempt to infiltrate an impregnable Nazi fortress and destroy two enormous long-range field guns in this 1961 Oscar-winner for Best Special Effects. Amazon.com This rousing, explosive 1961 WWII adventure, based on Alistair MacLean's thrilling novel, turns the war thriller into a deadly caper film. Gregory Peck heads a star-studded cast charged with a near impossible mission: destroy a pair of German guns nestled in a protective cave on the strategic Mediterranean island of Navarone, from where they can control a vital sea passage. As world famous mountain climber turned British army Captain Mallory, Peck leads a guerrilla force composed of the humanistic explosives expert, Miller (David Niven), the ruthless Greek patriot with a grudge, Stavros (Anthony Quinn), veteran special forces soldier Brown (Stanley Baker), and the cool, quiet young marksman Pappadimos (James Darren). This disparate collection of classic types must overcome internal conflicts, enemy attacks, betrayal, and capture to complete their mission. Director J. Lee Thompson sets a driving pace for this exciting (if familiar) military operation, a succession of close calls, pitched battles, and last-minute escapes as our heroes infiltrate the garrisoned town with the help of resistance leader Maria (Irene Papas) and plot their entry into the heavily guarded mountain fort. Carl Foreman's screenplay embraces MacLean's role call of clichés and delivers them with style, creating one of the liveliest mixes of espionage, combat, and good old-fashioned military derring-do put on film. In 1978, the sequel Force 10 from Navarone was released, but MacLean fans will prefer to check out the action-packed thriller Where Eagles Dare. --Sean Axmaker

Description
With this breakthrough film, Federico Fellini launched both himself and his wife and collaborator Giulietta Masina to international stardom, breaking with the neorealism of his early career in favor of a personal, poetic vision of life as a bittersweet carnival. The infinitely expressive Masina registers both childlike wonder and heartbreaking despair as Gelsomina, loyal companion to the traveling strongman Zampanò (Anthony Quinn, in a toweringly physical performance), whose callousness and brutality gradually wear down her gentle spirit. Winner of the very first Academy Award for Best Foreign-Language Film, La strada possesses the purity and timeless resonance of a fable and remains one of cinema’s most exquisitely moving visions of humanity struggling to survive in the face of life’s cruelties. BLU-RAY SPECIAL EDITION FEATURES 4K digital restoration, undertaken in collaboration with The Film Foundation and the Cineteca di Bologna, with uncompressed monaural soundtrack Alternate English-dubbed soundtrack, featuring the voices of Anthony Quinn and Richard Basehart Audio commentary from 2003 by Peter Bondanella, author of The Cinema of Federico Fellini Introduction from 2003 by filmmaker Martin Scorsese Giulietta Masina: The Power of a Smile, a documentary from 2004 Federico Fellini’s Autobiography, a documentary originally broadcast on Italian television in 2000 Trailer PLUS: An essay by film critic Christina Newland

Description
Synopsis: Beautifully restored in 4K, Mickey Spillane’s The Long Wait (1954) makes its home video debut from ClassicFlix in a 4K UHD/Blu-ray combo release. Soon after thumbing a ride from a truck driver, Johnny McBride (Anthony Quinn) is badly burned and suffers from complete amnesia when the vehicle he’s riding in blows a tire and goes over an embankment in a fiery blaze. McBride later receives a tip from an acquaintance that a photo of him was placed prominently in the window of a photography studio in a town called Lyncastle, so Johnny immediately leaves for the burg in the hopes that something there will jog his memory. Arriving in Lyncastle, Johnny learns to his regret that the photo in question was taken from a wanted poster and that he’s the prime suspect in the murder of the town’s district attorney—after he allegedly stole $250,000 from the bank at which he was employed. In order to solve the mystery of his identity and the crimes, McBride sets out to find old flame Vera West whom he believes can prove his innocence. As the clues start piling up, Johnny encounters resistance from several townspeople, most notably from mob boss Servo (Gene Evans), who rules Lyncastle with an iron fist. Mickey Spillane is best known for his many Mike Hammer mystery novels, but in 1951 he published the non-Hammer The Long Wait, which soon became the subject of a motion picture from the same company who brought Spillane’s I, the Jury (1953) and Kiss Me, Deadly (1955) to the silver screen. On the cusp of stardom, two-time Academy Award winner Anthony Quinn headlines along with Oscar-winning actor Charles Coburn (The More the Merrier), Gene Evans (The Steel Helmet) and Peggie Castle (I, The Jury). Directed by Victor Saville (Tonight and Every Night) and photographed by Franz Planer (Champion, Criss Cross), The Long Wait cast also features Mary Ellen Kay, Jay Adler, Shirley Patterson, Barry Kelley, Dolores Donlon, James Millican, Bruno VeSota, Frank Marlowe and Lawrence Dobkin.
