Mika (Isabelle Huppert) is the head of a Swiss chocolate company and insists on dispensing a surprisingly potent blend of hot chocolate and sedatives to her family. Married for the second time to her concert-pianist husband Andre, the two live with their son Guillaume, who clearly shares none of his father's musical talent. Into their lives steps a young woman born on the same day as Guillaume and, as we learn, was almost switched at birth with him. Does her prolific talent at the piano hint at a deeper connection? And will there be enough chocolate to go around? Bonus Content: Feature-length audio commentary by critics Wade Major and Andy Klein 2014 Re-release Trailer

Description
From Jennifer Kent, the acclaimed writer/director of The Babadook, comes a stunning meditation on the consequences of violence and the price of seeking vengeance. Set during the colonization of Australia in 1825, the film follows Clare (Aisling Franciosi), a 21-year-old Irish convict. Having served her seven-year sentence, she is desperate to be free of her abusive master, Lieutenant Hawkins (Sam Claflin), who refuses to release her from his charge. Clare's husband (Michael Sheasby) retaliates, and she becomes the victim of a harrowing crime at the hands of the lieutenant. When British authorities fail to deliver justice, Clare decides to pursue Hawkins, who leaves his post suddenly to secure a captaincy up north. Clare is forced to enlist the help of young Aboriginal tracker Billy (Baykali Ganambarr), who grudgingly takes her through the rugged wilderness. The terrain and the prevailing hostilities are frightening, but as their journey leads them deeper into the wilderness, Clare and Billy must learn to find empathy for one another while weighing the true cost of revenge. Description
This collection features three mood-drenched classics of noir: DARK CITY (1950) – A Tense, Tough Drama of Underworld Violence and Revenge! After losing his company’s $5,000 cashier’s check in a crooked card game, a stranger in Chicago commits suicide. The other gamblers—including Danny Haley, played by steely screen legend Charlton Heston (Touch of Evil) in his Hollywood debut—worry about the dangers of cashing the check, but this soon becomes the least of their concerns when the head of the group is found hanged. Police Captain Garvey (Dean Jagger, Pursued) concludes the hanging to be a case of homicide and discovers that the stranger had a mentally deranged brother (Mike Mazurki, Murder, My Sweet) who is out for vengeance. Fran (Lizabeth Scott, Pitfall), a torch singer who is desperately in love with Danny, begs him to run away with her before it’s too late. This stunningly cynical morality tale also features the stars of TV’s Dragnet 1967, Jack Webb and Harry Morgan, as Danny’s gambling partners. Directed by the dynamic Willam Dieterle (Portrait of Jennie, Rope of Sand) and bathed in black-and-white by cinematographer Victor Milner (The General Died at Dawn). NO MAN OF HER OWN (1950) – Every Door Closed Against Her...A Woman Faces the Age-Old Problem of Her Sex! The incandescent Barbara Stanwyck (Double Indemnity, The Strange Love of Martha Ivers) shines as a woman torn between a comfortable lie and the painful truth in this heart-wrenching noir classic. Helen Ferguson (Stanwyck), penniless, pregnant and dumped by her slimy boyfriend Steve (Lyle Bettger, Union Station), assumes the identity of a pregnant woman who was killed in a train crash. Eventually Helen’s sordid past catches up to her when Steve arrives demanding money to keep her true identity a secret from the man who loves her (John Lund, Night Has a Thousand Eyes). Gorgeously shot by cinematographer Daniel L. Fapp (The Big Clock, The Great Escape) and directed by Hollywood ace Mitchell Leisen (Death Takes a Holiday, Murder at the Vanities), this pitch-black masterpiece of harrowing melodrama was adapted from the book I Married a Dead Man by crime-writing king Cornell Woolrich (The Chase, Rear Window). BEWARE, MY LOVELY (1952) – Trapped by a Man Beyond Control! Screen heavyweights Ida Lupino (Woman in Hiding) and Robert Ryan (Odds Against Tomorrow) square off in this stylish and atmospheric thriller. Wealthy widow Helen Gordon (Lupino) hires drifter Howard Wilton (Ryan) as a handyman to do chores around her rambling mansion. What she doesn’t know: Howard Wilton is insane. Insecure and paranoid, Wilton thinks everyone, including Helen, is against him. He suffers from memory lapses and extreme mood swings. She’s soon a prisoner in her own home after Wilton locks the doors and tears out the telephone. His mood swings from violence to complacency but after Helen gets a message to the police via a telephone repairman, she finds he is still in the house. Beware, My Lovely is a spine-chilling suspense story shot by cinematographer George E. Diskant (On Dangerous Ground), written by noir specialist Mel Dinelli (The Spiral Staircase, House by the River) and helmed by noted art director Harry Horner (The Heiress, The Hustler). Rode • NEW Audio Commentary for NO MAN OF HER OWN by Film Historian Imogen Sara Smith • NEW Audio Commentary for NO MAN OF HER OWN by Film Historian/Writer Julie Kirgo and Writer/Filmmaker Peter Hankoff • Audio Commentary for BEWARE, MY LOVELY by Professor and Film Scholar Jason A. Brilliant, visionary Nikola Tesla (Ethan Hawke) fights an uphill battle to bring his revolutionary electrical system to fruition, then faces thornier challenges with his new system for worldwide wireless energy. The film tracks Tesla's uneasy interactions with his fellow inventor Thomas Edison (Kyle MacLachlan) and his patron George Westinghouse (Jim Gaffigan). Another thread traces Tesla's sidewinding courtship of financial titan J.P. Morgan (Donnie Keshawarz), whose daughter Anne (Eve Hewson) takes a more than casual interest in the inventor. Anne analyzes and presents the story as it unfolds, offering a distinctly modern voice to this scientific period drama which, like its subject, defies convention. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* A startling film that shows what teenagers feel... but never tell! Teenager Peter Mark (Peter Kastner) has it all: supportive parents (Charmion King, Claude Rae), a loving girlfriend (Julie Biggs), and a comfortable middle-class existence. But on the brink of finishing high school, he feels emboldened by his impending freedom, and decides to pursue a rebellious new path. After his parents make their disapproval known, Peter decides to move out on his own, confident he’ll conquer the working world with his insight and sophistication. When the reality turns out to be far less glamorous, he settles for a shady new job – that continues his criminal evolution. Often ranked among the most important Canadian films of all time, NOBODY WAVED GOODBYE is the feature directorial debut of Don Owen (The Ernie Game), who tapped into his documentary roots to deliver a gritty, low budget answer to Rebel Without a Cause. Screen legend Paul Newman (Twilight) delivers a brilliant performance as Sully, an out-of-work, hard-headed and hard-working construction worker with bad knees and a worse attitude. When the son he walked out on, Dylan Wash (Betsy’s Wedding), shows up with his grandson, Sully is forced to deal with emotions he’d prefer to forget. Sully’s overbearing landlord, Jessica Tandy (Driving Miss Daisy), in one of her last performances, and his ex-boss’ wife, Melanie Griffith (Paradise), are the women in his life that get to see a bit of his softer side. But it’s the new relationship with his grandson that really gets to him. This touching slice-of-life story garnered Academy Award nominations for Newman and writer/director Robert Benton (Kramer vs. Kramer, Places in the Heart), and features Bruce Willis (Billy Bathgate), Pruitt Taylor Vince (China Moon), Gene Saks (A Thousand Clowns), Josef Sommer (Still of the Night), Philip Seymour Hoffman (The Master) and Philip Bosco (Angie). A crippled C-47 transport crash-lands on a remote Pacific island. For the Marines aboard, World War II becomes smaller, but no less deadly. The atoll is held by a Japanese platoon, also cut off from its command. Debuting director Frank Sinatra stars in this suspenseful war saga, joined by Clint Walker, Tony Bill and Olympic champion Rafer Johnson. After initial bullet-laced confrontations, the Japanese leader (Tatsuya Mihashi) offers to swap water for the aid of Pharmacist Mate Maloney (Sinatra), whom he has mistaken for a doctor. When Maloney amputates the leg of a Japanese soldier and saves his life, peace results. But can it last? There are two sides to every war. None but the Brave skillfully shows the heroism of both.

Blu-ray. In their first independent production, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello deliver a "greatest hits" of many of their best routines, including "Mustard," "You're 40, She's 10," and "Hole in the Wall. " Two window washers (Bud and Lou) are mistaken for messengers by bookie Nick Craig and sent to collect a $50,000 gambling debt. However, the sore loser has no intention of paying off and instructs two henchmen to rob the boys. To evade the thugs, Bud and Lou quickly decide to mail the cash to Nick, but it accidentally ends up in the hands of a woman named Carol, who spends most of it before they find her. Nick gives the trio just 36 hours to come up with the loot, which he owes to J. C. McBride, a mysterious millionaire whom he has never met and who never loses a bet. With time running out, can Bud and Lou parlay the remaining money into $50,000 in time? A remake of For Love or Money (1939), The Noose Hangs High finds Bud and Lou in the very best of form with an excellent supporting cast featuring Joseph Calleia (Touch of Evil), Cathy Downs (My Darling Clementine) and Leon Errol (Mexican Spitfire).

Description
The great, gruff Nick Nolte (48 Hrs., Lorenzo’s Oil) stars in this brutally honest, all-time classic sports film about one man’s rebellion against the bureaucratic, manipulative world of professional football. Based on the semi-autobiographical novel by former Dallas Cowboy Peter Gent, North Dallas Forty depicts Nolte as an aging ballplayer who, through a woman he meets (Dayle Haddon), is drawn away from the masculine, violent world in which he has lived so long. In doing so, he finds himself at odds with the team’s management (G.D. Spradlin, Charles Durning and Steve Forrest). Superbly play-called by director Ted Kotcheff (Billy Two Hats, First Blood), the excitement, humor and drama of North Dallas Forty is heightened by its meticulous attention to the details of a football player’s private and public life and its authenticity on the playing field. Co-starring country music legend Mac Davis with Bo Svenson and Dabney Coleman. Special Features: DISC 1 (4KUHD): • Brand New HDR/Dolby Vision Master – From a 4K Scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative • Audio Commentary by Film Historians Daniel Kremer and Daniel Waters, with Director Ted Kotcheff • Triple-Layered UHD100 Disc • 5.1 Surround and Lossless 2.0 Audio • Optional English Subtitles DISC 2 (BLU-RAY): • Brand New HD Master – From a 4K Scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative • Audio Commentary by Film Historians Daniel Kremer and Daniel Waters, with Director Ted Kotcheff • Introduction by Ted Kotcheff (1:21) • Hit Me with Those Best Shots: Ted Kotcheff Remembers North Dallas Forty (5:22) • Looking to Get Out: A Comparative Analysis of the Ted Kotcheff Vision • Theatrical Trailer • Dual-Layered BD50 Disc • 5.1 Surround and Lossless 2.0 Audio • Optional English Subtitles

With this twisted love story, Alfred Hitchcock summoned darker shades of suspense and passion by casting two of Hollywood’s most beloved stars starkly against type. Ingrid Bergman plays Alicia, an alluring woman with a checkered past recruited by Devlin (Cary Grant), a suave, mysterious intelligence agent, to spy for the U.S. Only after she has fallen for Devlin does she learn that her mission is to seduce a Nazi industrialist (Claude Rains) hiding out in South America. Coupling inventive cinematography with brilliantly subtle turns from his mesmerizing leads, Hitchcock orchestrates an anguished romance shot through with deception and moral ambiguity. A thriller of rare perfection, Notorious represents a pinnacle of both its director’s legendary career and classic Hollywood cinema.
