Description
Product Description RESTREPO is a feature-length documentary that chronicles the deployment of a platoon of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan's Korengal Valley. The movie focuses on a remote 15-man outpost, "Restrepo," named after a platoon medic who was killed in action. It was considered one of the most dangerous postings in the U.S. military. This is an entirely experiential film: the cameras never leave the valley; there are no interviews with generals or diplomats. The only goal is to make viewers feel as if they have just been through a 90-minute deployment. This is war, full stop. The conclusions are up to you. Review "This is hard, hard duty. A 15-month tour. Our admiration for these men grows. Their jobs seem beyond conceiving. I cannot imagine a civilian thinking he could perform them." --Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times "What we see is explosive, deeply moving and impossible to shake." --Peter Travers Rolling Stone "It's the best thing I ve seen in a long time." --Michael Phillips At the Movies See more

A shell-shocking saga of mutants, martial arts, New York mayhem, comic book grit, practical effects wizardry and pizza-fuelled fun. A shell-shocking saga of mutants, martial arts and New York mayhem, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trilogy brought comic book grit, practical effects wizardry and pizza-fuelled fun to a generation of moviegoers, helping turn four sewer-dwelling brothers into global pop culture icons. Launching in 1990 with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, director Steve Barron's gritty, high-energy adaptation of the underground comic became a box office phenomenon, fusing martial arts action, streetwise humor and the groundbreaking animatronics of Jim Henson's Creature Shop. The 1991 sequel The Secret of the Ooze is an irresistibly fun second slice: a deep-dive into the turtles' origins where new mutant foes Tokka and Rahzar are thrown in the mix... double the stakes, double the pizza! Rounding out the trilogy, 1993's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III sends the heroes in a half shell back to feudal Japan in a time-travel adventure full of samurai showdowns, ancient legends and comic chaos. Restored in glorious 4K and packed with extras, this radical set celebrates the legacy of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael in one of the most iconic franchises of the era, blending innovative effects, comic-book heart and early '90s attitude. *This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Private investigator John March is handed the most unusual case of his career when the beautiful Claire Ward turns up at his office asking for help. Her husband, the esteemed chemical engineer Charles Dexter Ward, has started dabbling in strange and secretive experiments, and has recently moved out of the marital home and into a remote and disused ancestral farmhouse to continue his activities in privacy. As these experiments take an ever more sinister turn, with reports of body parts being delivered to the property, Charles himself begins displaying increasingly erratic behavior, apparently taking on the personality of someone from centuries ago. With Charles eventually committed to a psychiatric facility for evaluation, leaving John and Claire free to investigate the property, the nightmare has only just begun… Taking its cue from the success of Stuart Gordon’s similarly H.P. Lovecraft-inspired Re-Animator (1985), director Dan O’Bannon’s (The Return of the Living Dead) THE RESURRECTED sought to further mine the works of Lovecraft with this thrilling take on his novella The Case of Charles Dexter Ward. Starring John Terry (TV's Lost, The Living Daylights), Chris Sarandon (Fright Night, Child’s Play), Jane Sibbett (TV’s Friends), and Robert Romanus (Fast Times at Ridgemont High), and featuring some truly memorable and horrific prosthetic creature FX, Vinegar Syndrome is thrilled to breathe new life into this unjustly overlooked early 90s horror outing, which claws its way up from the subterranean lab newly restored in 4K from its original camera negative and loaded with a wealth of new and archival bonus features. In Resurrection, an unforgettable story of love and devotion, Ellen Burstyn delivers a tour-de-force performance as a woman who experiences clinical death and returns to life with the amazing ability to heal others. Attributing her powers to human love rather than divine intervention, she begins to aid the residents of her childhood town. After healing a zealous young farmer (Sam Shepard), she starts to fall in love with him. As their affair develops, he tries to make her confess that her powers come from God and not from within. Her refusal leads to a violent climax that will change the healer and all who touch her forever.

Description
It's the 16th century and Japan is in chaos. Samurai clans engage each other in battle over who gets to rule the nation, while warlords call upon the ninja to spy on and assassinate their rivals. Goemon, an ambitious young member of a ninja family, is thrown into the turmoil of Japanese history when his village is wiped out by the forces of leading warlord Oda Nobunaga, who has sworn to eradicate the ninja in his quest for absolute power. Fueled by vengeance, Goemon uses every weapon in his arsenal to bring down Oda and to prove that a ninja is an army of one. Starring "the Japanese James Dean" Raizo Ichikawa (Sleepy Eyes of Death, Conflagration) alongside Tomisaburo Wakayama (Lone Wolf and Cub, the Bounty Hunter trilogy) and Ayako Wakao (Elegant Beast, Red Angel), the Shinobi series was an epoch-making success and became a social phenomenon that left deep marks on Japan of the 1960s, from children's playgrounds to the leftist counter-culture. Packed with spectacular and oft-copied action scenes, it also established the ground rules for all ninja movies that followed, introducing such classic tropes as the shuriken throwing star and the iconic black mask and suit. Get ready for the seventh spellbinding entry in Full Moon's iconic Puppet Master series: Retro Puppet Master! Directed by insanely prolific genre legend David DeCoteau (Puppet Master III, Creepozoids) and produced by Charles Band (Puppet Master, Hideous!), Retro Puppet Master dials back the clock, serving as both a thrilling prequel to Puppet Master III and as one of the most unique, evocative films in the franchise. Actor and author Greg Sestero (The Room) stars as the young Andre Toulon, living a peaceful life as a puppeteer in pre-World War I Paris and courting the lovely Ilsa, the Swiss ambassador's beautiful young daughter. But the strings of fate that guide Toulon's destiny are about to pull him into an unexpected direction after he encounters the renegade sorcerer Afzel, who has stolen the mysterious secrets of life from the dark god Sutekh. When Sutekh's sinister servants arrive, and make Ilsa a part of their diabolical plans, it's up to Toulon and his army of custom made puppets to stop them at any cost! Featuring the final appearance of actor Guy Rolfe as the elder Toulon and boasting rich production values, a fine score by John Massari and a much stronger emphasis on human drama, Retro Puppet Master is a trip back in time with a very different pack of puppets. Full Moon is proud to premiere this picture on Blu-ray completely remastered from the original 35mm camera negative. Bonus features include: Original Retro Puppet Master Videozone, 2 hours of rare behind-the-scenes footage with optional Directors commentary, New directors commentary with director David DeCoteau & actor Greg Sistero, Full Moon Features Trailers
