Product Description Wyld Stallyns couldn’t drag you away from this most excellent collection! From the past to the future, and to Hell and back… witness the triumphant travels of history’s most significant slackers Bill & Ted, in a bodacious, two-film Blu-ray set that’ll have you tuning up your air guitar for a stellar solo! Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure finds our non-heinous heroes (Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves) in danger of flunking History: a most odious proposition! But when the righteous Rufus (George Carlin) arrives in a time-traveling phone booth, the dense dudes discover their destiny… and call on the past’s biggest names for help! In Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, the titular time travelers aren’t making history: they are history! When an evil-doer from the future sends eviller robot twins of Bill & Ted to assassinate and replace good, non-robot Bill & Ted, the guys wind up face to face with the Grim Reaper (William Sadler)! Can the now-dead duo escape, defeat their evil doppelgangers, and win their Battle of the Bands contest? Review Shout Factory have basically become the last bastion for quality catalog releases, especially now that major studios are resorting to MOD (manufacture on demand) BD-R’s and digital-only futures. They’ve really stepped up their game in the last year, too, and with the release of Bill & Ted’s Most Excellent Collection (which wholly lives up to its name, by the way) they apparently don’t have the intention of stopping anytime soon. The A/V presentation is better than expected, even for Bogus Journey. And supplements? Not only are most, if not all of the old extras accounted for, but Shout went to great lengths to produce a good deal of their own. This is one of the easiest ratings I’ve given to a release in a while: Highly Recommended. --DVD Talk, September 20, 2016

*This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Looking to inject a little more excitement into his life, family man Larry seizes the opportunity when he happens across a newspaper advert for a "unique and exotic" room for rent in a mansion in the Hollywood Hills. The room, draped in black sheets and filled with candles, pillows and mirrors, seems to be the ideal place in which to carry out his extra-marital affairs - which Larry promptly does, first picking up a young college girl and later a prostitute. The mysterious owners of the property, siblings Jason and Bridget, seem more than happy to accommodate the wayward husband, dutifully preparing the room for each visit. But what Larry doesn’t realize is that Jason is deathly in need of regular blood transfusions, and the pair have been abducting each of Larry’s carnal conquests to use as victims in Jason’s deadly laboratory… Written and co-directed by Norman Thaddeus Vane (writer/director of 1983’s Frightmare) and directed by Elly Kenner, 1982’s THE BLACK ROOM is a smart, seductive, and utterly unique horror yarn, offering up a distinctive and modern take on the then-tired vampire mythos, whilst doubling down on all the requisite sex and bloodletting one would expect from the genre - the latter aided in no small part by the talents of special effects guru Mark Shostrom (Evil Dead II, the A Nightmare on Elm Street series). Featuring cinematography from Robert Harmon (who’d go on to helm the 1986 cult classic The Hitcher), Vinegar Syndrome is thrilled to resurrect THE BLACK ROOM from its murky VHS grave, pumping fresh blood into this underseen horror gem with a new 4K restoration from 35mm negative elements and an unholy assortment of newly-produced bonus features. Product Description Bleach the Movie 4: Hell Verse (BD) Hell – a place where beings that have committed mortal sins during their lifetime are sent. It is a realm where even Soul Reapers are forbidden to interfere. When a group of vicious Sinners plots to escape from this eternal prison, they discover that Substitute Soul Reaper Ichigo Kurosaki is the key to their freedom. The Sinners launch an attack and in the process kidnap Ichigo’s younger sister Yuzu and take her to Hell. With the help of a mysterious man named Kokuto, Ichigo and his friends must now travel into the depths of Hell to stop the Sinners and save Yuzu, unaware that their actions could bring Hell to the World of the Living. Amazon.com Like the previous three Bleach features, Hell Verse (2010) presents a story outside the ongoing continuity. Three monstrous sinners escape from hell long enough to invade Karakura Town and kidnap Ichigo's younger sister Yuzu. Accompanied by Renji, Rukia, and Ishida, Ichigo goes to hell to rescue her. Kokuto, an unrepentant murderer, has imprisoned Yuzu: he plans to use the extraordinary power of Ichigo's Hollow-ized form to shatter the links that bind him to the underworld. The inevitable complications ensue before Ichigo defeats the evil plot and ensures that everyone he cares about can return safely to the World of the Living. Director Noriyuki Abe and his crew juxtapose an oddly geometric vision of hell with giant, skull-headed guardians and deserts strewn with skeletal fragments that evoke Dali paintings. Hell Verse features some spectacular battles, but the story feels both thin and familiar, with Ichigo's loyalty to his friends triumphing over a malefactor's schemes. The script sets up numerous rules, then ignores them: unbreakable chains are broken, unbreachable portals are breached, and irreversible procedures are reversed. The second Bleachfilm, Diamond Dust Rebellion, has a more compelling story that focuses on the bond between Ichigo and Hitsugaya; the third, Fade to Black, balances story and action more effectively. To promote Hell Verse (2010), creator Tite Kubo drew a special chapter in the manga, and the 299th episode of the broadcast series pushed the film. Truly one of the most delirious film experiences you can have, CAFÉ FLESH is a dystopian sci-fi offering from one of American cinema's true originals. The time - five years after a nuclear apocalypse. The survivors - post-nuke thrill-freaks looking for a kick. Able to exist, to sense, to feel everything, excepting pleasure. In a world destroyed, survivors break down to those who can and those who can't. 99% are "Sex Negatives," call them "erotic casualties". Product Description The funniest business trip of all time gets even crazier with the Super-Awesome Edition of Cedar Rapids — more hysterical footage, more outrageous shenanigans and more two-diamond fun! Ed Helms (The Hangover 1 & 2) and John C. Reilly (Step Brothers) lead an all-star cast in the comedy that shows what can happen...when insurance agents go wild! Shy and naive Tim Lippe (Helms) ventures to the “big city” of Cedar Rapids for a convention and ends up crossing paths with the ultimate party animal (Reilly). Before long, Tim is crashing parties, skinny-dipping in the hotel pool and being seduced by a sexy soccer mom. And if Tim can survive the weekend, he might just change his life forever! Amazon.com When a naive, small-town insurance agent named Tim Lippe (Ed Helms, The Hangover) goes to a convention in the big city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, his life gets turned inside out under the influence of three convention veterans. This sort of fish-out-of-water comedy could have been a flimsy excuse for broad slapstick and absurd high jinks; instead, in the confident hands of director Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl, Chuck & Buck), Cedar Rapids becomes something more humane and, in a quiet way, more ambitious. Helms manages to make Tim genuine, a man-child but not a cartoon; the movie's situations skirt wackiness, yet always remain in the realm of something emotionally real. (The movie also reflects the influence of producers Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor, who created the similarly character-rich movies Sideways, Almost Schmidt, and Election.) The whole cast hits the right notes, from such familiar faces as John C. Reilly (Magnolia, Talladega Nights), Anne Heche, and Sigourney Weaver to such stealthy character actors as Stephen Root (NewsRadio), Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine), Isiah Whitlock Jr. (The Wire), and Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development). Cedar Rapids is sweet without being cloying, funny without being manic, and even a little sad at times, without ever turning up the violins on the soundtrack. It's an honest movie, and there are all too few of them out there. --Bret Fetzer
