Disc 2 contains Tromeo & Juliet (1996) on Blu-ray, presented in its director's cut (the combo's 4K Ultra HD disc is Disc 1). The Que and Capulet families have been locked in a feud so bitter that each side has forbidden its children any contact with the other. When Tromeo Que, a lovable, smut-obsessed slacker, crashes a lavish party thrown by the chaste Juliet Capulet, the two fall for each other instantly. Forced to hide their passion — especially since Juliet's father has promised her to a meat-obsessed business associate — their secret love threatens to tear both families apart and sparks mayhem and bloodshed all around them. Lloyd Kaufman's first official Shakespeare adaptation, Tromeo & Juliet is a wild punk take on the Bard's doomed romance, complete with copious gore, nudity, and mutant genitalia of unusual size. Set among the outcasts of a squalid New Jersey standing in for Verona, it was co-written by a young James Gunn and features Debbie Rochon, Sean Gunn in his screen debut, Motörhead's Lemmy, and Will Keenan as Tromeo. Vinegar Syndrome presents the director's cut in a new 4K restoration from the film's original camera negative, with hours of new and archival extras.

Description

In this sweeping retelling of the Iliad, Paris of Troy's abduction of Helen ignites a Greek siege of the walled city that lasts a decade. Brad Pitt stars as Achilles, the near-mythic warrior whose pride and rage shape the war's course, opposite Eric Bana's Hector, Orlando Bloom's Paris, Diane Kruger's Helen and Peter O'Toole's King Priam, in Wolfgang Petersen's epic that builds to the stratagem of the Trojan Horse.

Description

Filmed entirely on location at Utah State Prison, this is one of the most brutal prison stories ever filmed. A taut, tense trip down nightmare alley and as devastating an experience as one could stomach, making this film one of the most shocking of its genre. In grim and often graphic detail, the film follows the introduction into the system of a new prison guard (Clu Gulager, The Killers. Hunter’s Blood), a man full of high ideals and moral intentions, but totally ill-equipped and unable to contain the corruption and degradation he encounters within. When two new inmates, a college professor (Alan Alda, M*A*S*H, The Four Seasons) and a young teenager become the target for the brutal and sadistic gang leader (Vic Morrow, Combat, Twilight Zone: The Movie), they find nowhere to run and no one to run to. Even the aging Warden (Dean Jagger, I Heard the Owl Call My Name, Game of Death) is bought and paid for by the gang leaders. Their fate is inevitable and terror reigns supreme, it is the law of the jungle, the law of gang rapes, scalding and vicious knifings. Legendary Truman Capote’s (In Cold Blood) The Glass House is a relentless, devastating and above all, a damning portrayal of life and death as it exists in one of America’s toughest prisons. Directed by Hollywood veteran Tom Gries (100 Rifles, Lady Ice, Breakout) and co-starring Billy Dee Williams (The Empire Strikes Back, Hit!), Scott Hylands (Fools, Death Hunt) and Luke Askew (Dune Warriors). Now see this groundbreaking TV movie for the first time in HD! Special Features: -On-camera interview with star Clu Gulager
