Five-disc set includes: I'm All Right, Jack (1959)Having flopped at every desk job he tried, privileged but hapless Stanley Windrush (Ian Carmichael) got hired for unskilled labor at his uncle's missile factory. Though eventually winning over suspicious shop steward Fred Kite (Peter Sellers), Stanley's gung-ho attitude makes him the focus for backfiring conniving by both union and management. Satirical follow-up to "Private's Progress" from the Boulting Brothers co-stars Terry-Thomas, Dennis Price, Richard Attenborough, Margaret Rutherford. 104 min. BW/Rtg: NR Man In A Cocked Hat (1959)After Britain forgot that it granted independence to a tiny island nation 40 years earlier, it faced a scramble to head off the ex-colony's dealings with the Soviets over valuable mineral resources. Unfortunately, the job was in the hands of hapless Foreign Office functionary Cadogan de Vere Carlton-Browne (Terry-Thomas), who may be played like a fiddle by the prime minister (Peter Sellers). Delightful Boulting Brothers satire co-stars Luciana Paluzzi, Ian Bannen, Thorley Walters. AKA "Carlton-Browne of the F.O." 88 min. BW/Rtg: TV-PG Two-Way Stretch (1960)Hilarious comic caper stars Peter Sellers as a pampered prisoner who, along with his two cellmates, plans a diamond heist that involves the trio breaking out of-then back into-jail, thus giving them an air-tight alibi. But the arrival of a new no-nonsense head guard threatens to put a crimp on their seemingly foolproof plan. David Lodge, Bernard Cribbins, Wilfrid Hyde-White co-star. 87 min. BW/Rtg: NR The Wrong Arm Of The Law (1963)Peter Sellers is Pearly Gates, a London underworld boss whose empire is under attack, in this crime spree comedy. Nanette Newman, Lionel Jeffries, Bernard Cribbins also star. 94 min. BW/Rtg: NR Heavens Above! (1963)Kindly prison chaplain John Smallwood (Peter Sellers) found himself (mistakenly) reassigned as vicar to the small industrial town of Orbiston Parva. Unfortunately, it doesn't take long for Smallwood's notions of charitable attention to the community's less fortunate residents to start galling it's upper crust-leaving the church hierarchy scrambling for a solution. Gentle satire from the Boulting Brothers co-stars Cecil Parker, Isabel Jeans, Ian Carmichael, Brock Peters. 118 min. BW/Rtg: NR Widescreen; Soundtrack: English.
