From the mind of Wake Up the Death Treasure and Visual Bandits trilogy director Tac Miyamoto come two legendary short tokusatsu epics! This duo of 8mm films - inspired by Tsuburaya Productions' TV series Ultra Q - weave tales of hardship and monsters from beyond, and helped pave the way for the director's most famous work. "Forest of Heresy" - Miyamoto's final project as a high school student - tells the story of two hunters who, after a time-travel mishap, must escape the jaws of a hungry Tyrannosaurus rex. "Legend of the Desert Illusion" follows four young members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, who become stranded in the middle of a North-African desert within an armored reconnaissance vehicle.
